-THE BLACKS WERE AT DIAGON ALLEY. Remus had the not-so-great idea to buy Adhara back-to-school supplies. However, his actual good idea in that was to make it a family-bonding day. So, Sirius Black and Remus Black, and Adhara Black-Malfoy, were at Diagon Alley.

After finally getting the right sized robes and uniform since Adhara had grown out the ones from last year, they decided to spend the rest of the day in the Rosa Lee Teabag, a teashop, because they were exhausted from spending the whole day shopping. Thankfully, they were done by now and could rest.

When they stepped into the teashop, a waitress came to them. "Welcome to Rosa Lee Teabag. What would you three like today?" She asked expectantly with a pleasant smile.

"Three cups of tea and a few pastries, please. Make them your choice," replied Remus kindly.

The waitress walked away after nodding, going to get the cups of tea and a few pastries.

"So, what have you got planned for this year, Addie?" Sirius asked his daughter, taking off the leather jacket he was wearing even though the weather was extremely hot. Sirius did not seem to care.

Adhara bit her lip in thought. "I think I'll spend my last year in Hogwarts merely focusing on myself. I've quit quidditch and refused to become the head girl when Sev gave me the offer."

Remus's mouth dropped open in shock over the fact that the girl refused such an opportunity. "Why?"

"Because I would much rather not waste my time on daft prefects that don't know how to do their jobs, which would probably result in me doing it for them in the end." Adhara waved a hand dismissively. "Besides, I was a prefect, and it was a lot of work. That work would just triple if I became the head girl."

"So, who became the head girl instead?" Sirius finally asked the question he was thinking of.

She became quiet for a second, then muttered, "Hermione."

"Come again?" Remus asked, not hearing the girl.

"Hermione," repeated Adhara in a louder voice so they could hear.

Understanding dawned on the men's faces, both of them exchanging a look.

"That's the real reason you refused to be a head girl, wasn't it?" asked Sirius knowingly, not oblivious for once.

Reluctantly, Adhara nodded. "Yes, she has worked so hard for this opportunity. Why should I have taken it away from her?"

Remus frowned, thanking the waitress immediately when she came back with their tea and pastries. He took a sip of his tea when she left and pointed out, "The opportunity was rightfully given to you, Addie."

She shook her head. "I don't really care. Hermione gives so much work towards her academics. This opportunity will probably help her in the future even more. Being a head girl is a big deal in Hogwarts."

"You were the first choice?" Sirius asked, proud regardless.

Adhara nodded, lips quirking up when he smiled. "Yes. But when I found out Hermione was the second choice, I immediately refused. She deserves the position more, anyway."

Remus shook his head, but he understood. He was head boy himself, during his seventh year.

"Besides." Adhara wrinkled her nose in disgust. "Ron Weasley, somehow, became head boy. It was supposed to be Harry, but he also gave it up. Sev told me."

"How is Ron head boy?" Sirius asked in shock. He might've sounded rude, but it was the truth. Ron was not good in his academics.

Adhara shrugged, the same expression on her face. "I genuinely don't know. I think Dumbledore took a stroll in the Hufflepuff common room and got high."

Sirius openly laughed, while his husband gave her a look. "The Hufflepuffs still grow that in their common room?" Remus eventually asked.

The girl nodded with a small laugh. "Yes," she confirmed. "They do!"

"Have you ever tried it out?" The man with the sandy blond hair looked at her in suspicion.

Sirius sobered up immediately and waited for her answer with raised brows.

Adhara merely gave Remus a look. "I am Sirius's offspring, after all." She pointed out.

Remus could only face palm when his husband grinned in pride instead of being angry.
