"Siblings Day"
-THE NEXT DAY, ADHARA AND PANSY WALKED INTO THE GREAT HALL TOGETHER. They sat down and started eating their breakfasts. "We're getting our schedules" mused Pansy as Professor Snape was now handing out the Slytherin's schedules.
"Cool." mumbled Adhara sarcastically, poking her food and not eating it.
Noticing this, Pansy sighed. "Ara, you've got to eat."
"I'm not hungry."
"She's right." said Severus, glaring at his goddaughter while giving her the schedule. "You must eat or I shall be telling Lucius."
Adhara rolled her eyes, but did as he said, knowing that her godfather would definitely tell her father, and when Lucius would get worried - it was bad.
Adhara, reluctantly, walked into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, her first lesson.
Ignoring everyone's eyes, she sat down at the very back next to her brother, who had saved a seat for her.
"Are you feeling alright, Ara?" whispered Draco, looking worried.
She merely nodded.
Professor Black and Professor Potter walked in, both of them stopping at the sight of Adhara, but someone clearing their throat snapped them out of their thoughts.
"Goodmorning, sixth years!" exclaimed James Potter, looking excited.
Adhara immediately tuned him out. She crossed her arms and started swinging on her chair.
"Hey," whispered Draco as the professors were too busy with the other students.
His sister hummed questioningly.
"Do you want to get out of here?"
"How?" asked Adhara, looking confused.
"They don't seem to be noticing us," Draco pointed out. "and we can get out of here right now."
"Sure."
"-and we can skip every class, and I'll take the blame if Sev tells our parents." Draco finished when they were out of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, skipping the lesson.
"Dragon, why are you doing this?"
Draco sighed. "I haven't seen you smile in weeks, Ara. I'm trying to let you know that you're not alone."
"I know that, Dray." said Adhara, face portraying no emotions.
"Let's go to the kitchen." Draco said instead.
The two siblings walked into the kitchen a few minutes later, both of them in awe at the sight of the huge kitchen.
"Dobby?" asked Adhara in shock, looking at the elf she and Draco had freed when they were just toddlers.
It was after witnessing a bad self-torture lesson from Dobby that they decided to free him immediately, without even telling their parents.
They both got a small scolding from their father for not telling him beforehand, who claimed that he could've just ordered the elf not to harm himself or something like that, but the two toddlers just tuned him out.
Their mother, however, was proud and couldn't stop smiling, claiming that her two children would grow up to be the kindest people ever.
Oh, how wrong she was.
Both of them grew up to be kind, but one of them had their kindness destroyed.
"Mistress Adhara! Master Draco!" Dobby excitedly exclaimed, rushing over and hugging their legs.
"You work here, Dobby?" asked Draco, looking impressed.
Dobby nodded excitedly. "What can Dobby do for old master and mistress?"
"Could you get us two butterbeers, please?" Adhara asked, earning a nod from the excited elf.
"So?" asked Draco, expectantly looking at his sister.
The two were now on top of the Astronomy Tower after spending the whole day together, not once going to classes.
"I had a great day, dragon." Adhara said with a small smile, putting her head on his shoulder. "Thank you. I really needed that."
Draco kissed her head softly. "Anytime, Ara."
