"All Saved But One Destroyed"
-ADHARA OPENED THE LAST DUNGEON'S DOOR, EYES WIDENING WHEN SHE SAW HERMIONE GETTING TORTURED BY BARTY CROUCH JUNIOR. She quietly started walking over to Barty, who had his back turned to her and was enjoying Hermione's screams way too much to notice.
"I'm so sorry." A voice said behind Barty just before he was stabbed in the side.
Adhara pulled out the dagger out of his side so he could die quicker, and rushed over to Hermione, pulling her to her chest. "Shh. You're okay now, darling."
Hermione nodded, still shaking as she sobbed.
The floo roared in Potter and Black manor, alerting everyone that Adhara and Hermione were back. They were all waiting in the living room. Sirius, James, and Lily were getting healed by Harry and a now-woken Remus.
"Glad everyone's alright." Harry broke the shocked silence, all of them looking at the blood on Adhara's clothes in horror.
Adhara swallowed, trying to stop tears from pooling in her eyes. "I had to."
"We know. We're not blaming you." They all said simultaneously, looking like they meant it.
Adhara sighed, laying Hermione down on a couch and started to heal her.
A few hours later, everyone was in their own rooms, except for Adhara, who was healing her dad.
"How the hell have you got so many bruises and cuts?" Adhara shook her head.
Sirius grinned. "I wouldn't shut up."
"Only you, Sirius." His daughter mumbled, pulled a cloth out of a bowl of water, and started to wipe the blood around the cuts on his face.
Sirius held her wrist, making her questioningly look at him. "I'm so proud of you, Addie. You're much braver than you think, and you proved that today."
"Oh, no. Next you'll be starting to think that I'm supposed to be in Gryffindor." She spat out the name, looking disgusted.
Sirius let out a laugh, which held nothing but fondness. "Cecilia's definitely proud of you. You should never forget that she's watching over you, Addie."
Adhara stopped what she was doing and bit her lip anxiously. It was now that what she had done finally sunk in. "Oh my god.." she whispered in horror. "I killed Cissa's sister."
"Addie, you had to-"
He frowned when she rushed out of the room, leaving him and his husband.
"She probably only now realized what she did, Pads. Give her some time." Remus pointed out, earning a nod from him.
Adhara didn't look up from her hands, that were stained with blood, when the door opened.
"Addie, Mione wants me to tell you that she's thankful for you saving her and-" Harry stopped, frowning at her tense form. "Addie?"
"I killed them." Addie said in horror, "Oh my god.."
"Hey, it's not your fault-" Harry tried but was interrupted.
"Harry, I killed them. What will mother say? She might even disown me. Or worse, hate me."
"Addie.." Harry shook his head and closed the door, walking over to her. "She won't blame you. You were doing it to save them."
"By killing?!" Adhara practically shouted, her chest rising and falling rapidly. "I'm practically no different from them! Oh, merlin. I killed them."
Harry frowned and sat in front of her, putting his hands on her shoulders. "Don't blame yourself. It wasn't your fault."
"I killed them." Adhara kept repeating over and over again, her eyes staring blankly at the wall.
Her godbrother sighed sadly and pulled her to his chest, trying to calm her down. "Shh, Addie. Nobody blames you. You had to do what you had to do."
Much to the extreme shock of her godbrother, Adhara started sobbing on his shoulder. Harry immediately hugged her tighter and let her cry on his shoulder, simultaneously trying to soothe her by rubbing circles on her back.
