-AFTER THE FIRST YEARS WERE DONE BEING SORTED, DUMBLEDORE STOOD UP. "Now, i'd like to announce a new transfer student who will be joining your third year, Adhara Black-Malfoy!" He said and wandlessly opened the great hall's door.

A girl with half black and half blonde hair, Hazel eyes, and a Hogwarts uniform on, walked in.

Sirius paled and sat up straighter, his eyes widening as he saw the young girl gracefully walking into the great hall with no emotions portrayed on her face. He didn't even know he had a daughter!

James looked between the girl and his bestfriend in shock. How come they didn't know Sirius had a daughter?!

Harry exchanged wide-eyed glances with his two bestfriends. That was why she looked so familiar!

"SLYTHERIN!" The hat shouted, bringing them out of their thoughts.

Adhara stood up and walked over to the clapping table, sitting down next to her brother and fistbumped him.

"Let the feast begin." Dumbledore said as the food appeared.

Everyone started eating and talking, except Sirius, who was too busy looking at his daughter in shock. He didn't even care that she was a Slytherin. All he cared about was how he didn't know.

Adhara, who was feeling her biological father's eyes on her, sighed and pushed her plate away.

"What's wrong?" Draco whispered softly, looking worried.

"I want to go back home." Adhara mumbled, frowning in displeasure.

"You'll love it here, Ara. Just give it a bit of time." Draco said, trying to convince her. He quite liked having his sister around and he didn't want that to go away.

"I gave it time," Adhara stated, now looking at Draco, "and you know what I got? A fight with the golden-boy, a wide-eyed look from my sperm donor, an unbelievable look from our other Defense teacher James Potter, and a shock from the whole great hall."

Draco sighed and noticed her necklace beeping slightly. He pointed to it and asked, "Is father calling you?"

She looked confused and followed his gaze, the crystal was beeping. "Yeah. I've got to go." She said and stood up, walking out of the great hall, not realizing a hazel-eyed man immediately following behind.

Adhara walked into an abandoned classroom and closed the door, not realizing it being opened just a few seconds later due to turning on her necklace

Adhara walked into an abandoned classroom and closed the door, not realizing it being opened just a few seconds later due to turning on her necklace.

"Adhara?" Lucius called through the necklace.

"Hello, father."

Sirius felt his heart crack at what he just heard. He knew he was a terrible father for unknowingly leaving his daughter behind. He never knew that it'd pain him to hear his daughter call someone else her father, even though he had met her only a few minutes ago.

"Hey, darling. How's Hogwarts?" Lucius questioned.

Adhara, who hadn't noticed Sirius yet, grumbled, "Beauxbatons was better."

Lucius sighed through the call. "You'll get used to Hogwarts soon, Ara. What house did you get sorted in?" He changed the subject.

At this, Adhara smirked, "Gryffindor."

"CISSY CHANGE HER ROOM INTO RED!" Lucius shouted immediately.

Adhara laughed as she heard her mother, "GRYFFINDOR? CONGRATULATIONS, SWEETHEART! I'LL SEND YOU RED CLOTHES BY NEXT WEEK!"

"Mum, dad!" Adhara exclaimed, deeply amused. "I'm just joking, I wanted to see your reactions. I've been sorted into Slytherin."

"Oh, thank Merlin." Lucius mumbled, earning a slap to the head by his wife.

Narcissa chuckled slightly. "Well then i'll be sending you green clothes!"

"Mum, my trunk is filled with-"

"We can't wait to see you at Yule, sweetie!" Narcissa cut her off. "Have you enjoyed Hogwarts, yet?"

"It's fine. Awkward, but fine." Adhara mumbled.

Lucius sighed. He wanted his daughter to stay near them and with Draco, but her happiness meant more to him. "If you want, we can send you back to Beauxbatons."

Adhara looked thoughtful. "No. It's alright, I'll deal with it. Anyways, I have to go. I'll owl you guys soon. Bye mum. Bye dad."

"Bye Ara." The parents chorused as the call ended.

Adhara sighed and turned around. Her eyes widened and her breathe hitched when she finally noticed Sirius Black by the door, looking sad.

"She chose a beautiful name." Sirius whispered sadly.

Adhara started glaring at him. "Too bad you weren't there to choose with her." She immediately shot back, voice as cold as ice.

Sirius' shoulders dropped. "I didn't know, Adhara."

"Bullshit. Now if you don't mind, I have a common room to get to. Goodbye, professor." Adhara snapped and walked out of the empty classroom, not leaving any room for a reply.
