-ADHARA WOKE UP THE NEXT MORNING, GROANING IN PAIN. She clutched her head as hard as she could, trying to make the headache go away. No, actually, it was not a headache. It was a hangover. A very painful one, at that.

She stood up slowly, frowning at the fact she was in her usual silk pajamas. She shook her head, not thinking much of it. She turned to Pansy's empty bed. With a shrug, she walked out of her dorm room and walked out of the common room after.

Within five minutes, she was at Severus Snape's door. She banged on the door multiple times, groaning when he wouldn't open it. It seemed like he wasn't there. But Adhara needed a hangover potion. She needed one now more than ever.

An idea formed in her head. A bad one. She knew she would get a heavy scolding from the man she would instead go to, but it was her next best option.

It took ten painful minutes, but Adhara finally reached the door. She banged on it, sighing in relief when Remus opened it.

The man's eyes immediately widened at her horrible state. He stared at her tangled hair, noticed the bags under her eyes, and looked at the pajamas she was wearing. He opened the door with pursed lips and closed it behind her when she entered.

Adhara sheepishly tried to smile, but couldn't. It hurt to even smile. How was that even possible?! How much had she drank last night?

Remus had the same question.

"How much did you drink last night?" He asked, while searching for a hangover potion in all of the drawers. He shook his head when he noticed she was in thought instead of answering immediately or even denying the fact that she drank.

Instead, Adhara mumbled, "Merlin, how long does it take to find a hangover potion? I assumed you had dozens of it lying around, thanks to dad."

"Your father doesn't make potions." Remus pointed out, still searching.

Adhara gave him a confused look. "I meant the fact that he drinks."

He shook his head fondly and finally found one. He brought it near her, but took it away when she opened her palm. "Not so fast, young lady." Remus glared at her, ignoring her groan. "Why were you drinking in the first place? And on a school night?"

"Remus, I'm seventeen." Adhara pointed out, trying to snatch the vial of the hangover potion from him, but failing to do so. "I'm considered an adult in the Wizarding world."

Remus tutted. "But not to me," he replied, closing his fist around the vial. "I won't give you this until you tell me everything. Also, you are going to deal with two weeks of detention and your father will hear about this."

She raised an unworried eyebrow. "Sirius? Sirius couldn't give two shits about me drinking—"

   "I meant Lucius."

Adhara's eyes widened in horror. She leaned forward, her hands on the desk between her and her step-father. "You wouldn't!" She exclaimed in betrayal. She let out a groan at her headache and touched her head. "I wouldn't have even came to you if Sev answered me," she grumbled bitterly.

Remus's lips parted. "Your first choice was Severus and not me?!"

She gave him a look. "You're going to be telling my father. Sev wouldn't have." She pointed out, then motioned to his closed fist. "And Sev would've given me the potion, as well, by now."

He raised an eyebrow. "Would he, now?"

Her eyes widened again, realizing what she had said. "Erm— I assume?" She tried, groaning again when he gave her a look. "Please give me the goddamn potion, Remus. I can't deal with this headache any longer—!"

But the door opened behind them, catching their attention.

Sirius walked in, ready for teaching. He stopped when he noticed his daughter, who looked terrible. "Are you alright?" He immediately asked in concern and rushed over to her.

"No," replied Adhara, almost pouting. "Because your husband—" she turned to glare at Remus, who rolled his eyes fondly "—won't give me a hangover potion."

Sirius looked at his husband and opened his hand. "Give me the potion, Remus. We're not giving it to her."

Remus looked at him suspiciously, ignoring Adhara's offended gasp. He slowly gave it to his husband with narrowed eyes.

He shouldn't have trusted Sirius. He knew that. But unfortunately, he still did.

He wasn't even surprised when Sirius grinned and immediately gave his daughter the potion.

Adhara immediately opened it and downed it in one gulp, grimacing at the taste. "That tastes horrendous."

"And alcohol doesn't?" Remus pointed out, then glared at his husband. "Sirius, your daughter spent a school night getting drunk. Adhara, how many glasses of alcohol did you have last night?"

She seemed to be in thought again. Then, her eyes lightened up when she finally remembered. She remembered bits and pieces only, but that was enough. "Three bottles," she finally replied, wincing at the man's look.

Even Sirius seemed horrified. "Three bottles?!" He almost shouted, eyes widened in horror. Then, he snapped out of it and asked, "Well, was it fun?"

   "Sirius!"

   "What, Moony?! She's an adult—!"

Adhara had to rush back to her dorm room after hearing Remus scold her for thirty minutes.

She was already late for breakfast, she realized as she hurriedly put on her school uniform five minutes later. She grabbed her Slytherin tie on the way out and rushed to her first class of the day, Defense Against the Dark Arts, with none other than Remus Black as their professor.

So, it was not a shock to see him glaring at her in the middle of his explanation whenever she dozed off for a few seconds. It would snap Adhara right back to listening.

She reckoned, after tuning the professor out, that she would've rather spent the day having a hangover than the scolding she got from the man.

She winced, remembering it.

"You look absolutely terrible," pointed out Pansy next to her, not looking up from the parchment she was writing notes on.

Adhara scowled, knowing her friend was right. Her green tie was hung loosely around her shoulders, while her hair was hurriedly brushed, and her uniform was hurriedly put on.

She did not know how bad the bags under her eyes were, but once she touched it, she could feel that it was horrible.

Hermione Granger, who turned around to look at her, seemed to realize too. Her brows furrowed in concern. However, she immediately looked away when Adhara made eye contact with her
