-THE FOUR TEENS FROWNED IN CONFUSION WHEN EVERY LIGHT SOURCE STARTED WORKING AGAIN. Their eyes immediately widened as the door opened and they all stood up eagerly, wanting to get out.

"Surprise?" James Potter cringed when he saw the glares he was receiving.

"Double Surprise?" Sirius Black paled when he saw the glare from his daughter.

"I'd say 'Triple Surprise' but I actually value my life." Remus pointed out as he also walked in, earning even more glares.

Lily Potter sighed in anger as she walked in. "I'm so sorry for that, kids. Is everyone alright?"

"Yes, mum." Harry said.

"Yes, Lily." Hermione answered, sitting down on the nearest couch.

Lily looked at the Malfoys with a gentle smile. "What about you two?"

Adhara looked at her dead in the eye. "I had your son question me if I've been in a relationship with a boy, despite the fact that I'm a lesbian. I was stuck with him and his sidekick, no offense Granger-"

"None taken."

"-for 6 hours. I lost my favorite dagger, which by the way was very special because it had the Malfoy crest on it and it was passed on from generation to generation, and it fucking melted because of your door. I have been tired from stopping myself from strangling your son. I don't think I'm very okay, Mrs. Potter." She snapped, glaring at all the adults.

Lily smiled sympathetically. "I'm very sorry about that, Adhara. I didn't know. I would've stopped them if I did."

"Here's your necklace." Remus nervously handed over the necklace.

Adhara pursed her lips, snatched the necklace from his hands angrily and walked out of the room, her brother immediately following.

Adhara walked outside to the gardens, her brows furrowing when her heart suddenly started beating faster once again. Her eyes found a girl sitting under a tree writing a letter, her back turned to her.

Hermione Granger.

Adhara started walking over to her. "What're you doing?" She asked, looking at the notebook in her hands and putting her own hands on Hermione's shoulders to get a better view.

Hermione immediately shivered at the cold hands and rings. "Writing." She replied, looking up.

Adhara looked confused and pointed to the pen in her hands. "What's that?"

Hermione followed her gaze and had to stop herself from laughing. "It's a pen."

"What's a pen?"

"It's like a quill, only the ink is in it, so there's no need to dip it in ink every few seconds."

Adhara looked genuinely confused, and in awe at the same time. "What?"

"Try it." Hermione said, giving her the notebook and the pen.

Adhara looked confused as she sat down and did what she asked. She looked at the pen in her hands in wonder and eventually started writing her name in the notebook, 'Adhara B-M'

Her eyes widened at how easy that was. Much easier than a quill. "Merlin. This is a muggle thing, is it not?"

Hermione nodded with a smile. "Yeah. It is." She confirmed.

"Adhara!" A voice exclaimed behind her as she tried walking to her room faster

"Adhara!" A voice exclaimed behind her as she tried walking to her room faster. "Adhara, please."

Adhara turned around and glared at him. "What do you want, Lupin?"

Remus didn't have the heart to correct her, knowing how hard it must be for her and just gave her a soft smile instead. "Can we talk?"

"No."

"Please?"

"No." She repeated and rushed up the stairs, not wanting to be near him any longer.

Remus sighed sadly and rubbed his forehead, trying to make the headache go away. He really wanted his stepdaughter to like him. He just felt like it was needed. However, he understood. He understood how hard it must've been for her.

"Moony?" Sirius asked worriedly behind him, making him jump slightly and turn around.

"Hm?"

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing." Remus reassured with a smile.

The next few days all passed by quickly

The next few days all passed by quickly. And as much as she'd hate to admit it, Adhara actually was enjoying her stay. She had become great friends with the muggleborn, Hermione, and even had a better relationship with Sirius. Surprisingly, even with Harry.

But her relationship with Harry was more consisting of fights and words that a thirteen year old definitely shouldn't know. But did Adhara care? Definitely not.

Draco, however, went back home after a few days, after he was sure his sister would be safe. He knew they needed alone time together to bond and get to know each other.
