-HARRY DID VISIT THAT WEEKEND. Draco loved having his boyfriend around his family. He loved the fact his family, was slowly turning into Harry's as well, combining the love that they shared. It gave Draco hope for the future— hope of getting married to Harry, that is.

Adhara was flipping through a book in the Malfoy manor's library, laying down on the couch. Her brother and Harry were on the couch across of hers. She rolled her eyes fondly when the couple shared a kiss. "Can you both stop snogging when I'm going through a breakup?"

Harry, in return, merely gave Draco another kiss. He grinned when Adhara glared at him. "What?" He shrugged innocently.

She groaned and went back to reading. It wasn't their fault she was single, anyway. She just didn't like the sound of happy couples while going through a heartbreak.

"How's your family?" asked Draco after pulling away, smiling at his boyfriend.

"Good," replied Harry, also smiling. "Ron's being a git, though."

"Why's that?"

"We were supposed to go to a quidditch match that was going to happen yesterday, but he forgot while hanging out with 'Mione." Harry waved a hand, wincing when he realized Adhara had heard them.

The girl looked up from her book and sat back up immediately. "Are they together? Officially?" She asked, knowing she wouldn't like the answer.

She was right when Harry nodded.

She didn't know why, but that was enough for her heart to crack. She stood up and left her book on the couch of the library, her thoughts scattered in her brain.

How was it so easy for Hermione to move on? It took her only a few weeks to be with another person. Meanwhile, Adhara was going through the pain of losing her. Now more than ever.

Finding her mother in the kitchen, Adhara immediately broke down after saying, "Mum."

Narcissa turned around at the sound of her daughter's hurt voice, rushing over to the girl immediately. She pulled her in a hug before asking, "What's wrong, Ara? What happened?"

"Hermione," replied the young girl in her arms, her tears getting on the woman's silk shirt. "She's already with someone else."

Narcissa frowned in confusion, but started rubbing her daughter's back up and down in comfort. "Didn't you already know that, darling?"

"Yes, but I didn't believe it fully. I thought maybe it was just to get back at me— or something like a fling. I didn't actually think—" she stopped and let out a sob, grateful for the fact her mother merely tightened her arms around her.

"Oh, Ara." Narcissa shook her head in pity. She knew exactly how the girl was feeling. She had her fair share of problems with Lucius when they were betrothed. So, she understood. "Maybe it's time for you to let her go."

Adhara shook her head rapidly, pulling away and looking into her mother's eyes. "I can't, mum." She whispered, her voice cracking.

"Why can't you, my darling? There are lots of girls that would love to be with you." The woman pointed out, kissing the girl's forehead.

Adhara swallowed, tears still falling from her eyes. At that moment, she realized something. Something she should have realized long ago, but never did.

Adhara realized she loved Hermione.

Not normal love, no.

She was in love with Hermione.

How could she ever get over her? How could she live with herself, knowing she was the reason she lost Hermione. Knowing her actions and toxicity was what led Hermione into the arms of another person and out of hers.

Adhara wouldn't be able to love again. Not the way she loved Hermione. She knew it. She could feel it not only in her heart, but also in her bones.

Being in love wasn't something she wanted, but it was time for her to stop denying it. It was time for her to stop ignoring her love and her hurt. That was the reason she was led to lose Hermione in the first place: ignoring the love she felt for her and the hurt she felt from others.

Because Adhara Cecilia Black-Malfoy really did love that girl. She really was in love with Hermione Granger.

However, she could do nothing.

Nothing but watch the girl, whom she loved, be in another person's arms.
