-WHEN THE OTHER GRYFFINDORS WERE GONE, ADHARA AND HERMIONE WERE STANDING ALONE IN THE EMPTY CORRIDOR. Hermione's eyes started tearing up, "What?"

"It's not what it looks like, Mia-"

"Really? Because I just saw Nott walking out of that broom closet you're standing at." Hermione pointed out.

Adhara shook her head. "I swear we only talked-"

"Stop it, Adhara." Hermione crossed her arms, feeling her heart break, her tears now running across her face. "I saw."

"What you saw was wrong, Mia." Adhara said, looking desperate. "It's not what it looks like."

"I should've never trusted you."

Adhara frowned, looking extremely hurt. "Hermione, I'm telling you-"

"Come on, Adhara. You were alone in a broom closet with a girl who has a huge crush on you."

"That doesn't mean I was cheating!"

"Well, it seems like that to me!"

"How would it seem like that?!"

Hermione looked at her as if she was stupid. "Broom closet. Alone. A girl. You don't understand?"

"We did nothing except talk, Hermione." Adhara said through gritted teeth. "I am not the kind of person you believe me to be."

"Your actions just proved otherwise." Hermione shot back. "I am so stupid to not believe Nott's words. She was right. You were using me."

Adhara looked appalled. "I would never-"

"We're over."

Adhara's anger immediately turned into hurt. They stared at each other in heartbreak for a few seconds, both of them having a lot to say, but neither talking.

"So, that's it?" Adhara questioned, looking at her as if she were dumb. "Over a misunderstanding?"

"Don't talk to me like I'm dumb-"

"You are dumb if you truly believe that I'd cheat on you!"

"No." Hermione shook her head, "I'm dumb, but not for the reason you think. I'm dumb for falling in love with you."

Adhara looked at her in complete shock, but Hermione was too busy wiping her tears to notice.

"You should go." Adhara mumbled.

"I will." Hermione said, not looking at her as she walked away, leaving Adhara at the empty corridor.

Although, it wasn't as empty as they thought.
