-WHEN DRACO TOLD ADHARA THAT HE WANTED TO PLAY QUIDDITCH WITH HER THAT NIGHT, SHE WAS RELUCTANT. When Draco continued and told her that even Harry would be there, Adhara became even more reluctant.

But somehow, Draco always got his way. So, Adhara was in the quidditch pitch at three in the morning, flying on her broom.

She hadn't been on her broom in a while. But she felt nostalgic over being in the air, quaffle in her hand, then scoring. She didn't even watch the quidditch games happening during her seventh year. She didn't want to.

"How did you do that?!" Harry demanded in reluctant awe. He was on a team with Draco after Adhara had insisted. "I'm a natural and yet I haven't been able to do that!"

Adhara let out a laugh. "Naturally reckless, you mean? Do keep going. Your spectacular crashes are always good for a laugh."

Her godbrother rolled his eyes fondly, catching the quaffle Draco had passed to him and scored. He grinned and turned around to gloat, but that did not seem to be what fate had planned.

Instead, Adhara was hit by something - something that looked like a spell.

She was falling down.

"Adhara!" Draco shouted in shock and horror, flying as fast as he could to catch her. But he couldn't. Adhara's fall was faster.

Harry did the same, trying to catch his godsister. But he also couldn't.

Adhara's body hit the ground with a large 'crack'.

Alyssa Nott quietly tried sneaking through the castle, trying to stop the smirk from showing on her face as she remembered what she did two minutes ago.

She put her wand back in her holster, trying to make as little sound as possible. She didn't want to be caught out of bed after curfew.

"Where were you, Nott?" A voice behind her said.

Alyssa tried to stop herself from sneering, but failed when she turned around. She looked Hermione Granger up and down, then lied, "Getting fresh air."

"Detention for a month for being out past curfew," announced Hermione with crossed arms. She used her headgirl duties to her advantage, for once. Maybe that was wrong of her to do so, but she didn't care at that moment.

Alyssa's mouth dropped open. "You can't be serious! One whole month?!"

Hermione merely nodded and turned around. While leaving, she said, "And I'll be telling your Head of House that you were out past curfew."

Alyssa tried not to groan. She clenched her jaw and continued walking to the Slytherin common room, her thoughts all over the place.

Madam Pomfrey rushed to the teenagers immediately. She gasped at the sight of Adhara Black-Malfoy, fainted and bleeding, her body in weird shape.

"Put her on the bed, quick!" The woman instructed, rushing to find potions.

Harry and Draco, both shaking, put Adhara onto the white bed in the hospital wing. They would probably be in trouble for being out past curfew, but they didn't care nor think about that for even a second.

The sight of Adhara like that, made them shed tears. Tears that they tried to stop.

Harry stood up with a swallow. "I'm going to get Sirius," he whispered, a hand on his boyfriend's shoulder.

Draco had his head in his hands, shaking his head in disbelief. "Be quick," was his only reply.

Harry nodded, kissed his boyfriend's forehead, and rushed out of the hospital wing immediately.

It didn't seem like an accident. They knew that already. But instead of trying to find the culprit, they obviously prioritized rushing the girl to the hospital wing. But they would not let this slide.

No. They would find out who did it.
