"Christmas/Yule"
-ADHARA WOKE UP, TOOK A SHOWER, GOT DRESSED AND WALKED DOWNSTAIRS. She stopped at the sight of everyone laughing while talking together, with Christmas music in the background.
Lily, who was behind her, frowned at the expression. She knew what that expression was: longing.
Adhara never hated Yule or anything, but the only problem was, she'd always go to pureblood balls with the Malfoys, which was something she sort of hated. What she always wanted was exactly what was happening at that moment.
"Let's go join." Lily said softly and grabbed her hand gently. "You're apart of this family and I will make sure that you will never forget it."
Adhara looked at her, her eyes slightly widened and her mouth parted. "I-"
"Merry Christmas, Adhara!" Harry exclaimed, pushing a glass of juice in her hands.
"Is it poisoned?" She asked, taking a sip anyway.
Harry winked. "What kind of godbrother would I be if it wasn't?"
Adhara spit out the juice all over his face and smirked when he glared at her. "A good one."
His smirk came back as he walked away, making her frown as to what he had planned. She shrugged and sat down next to Sirius, unknowingly making him slightly smile.
"What's up Potters and Blacks!" The Weasley twins appeared into view after using the fireplace to floo in, earning a smack in the head from their mum, while the rest of the Weasleys appeared after them.
"Oh, look Freddie, a new ickle Black!" George exclaimed, looking at Adhara.
"Pleasure to meet you, ickle Blackie." Fred said with a grin, grinning wider when she glared at them both.
"Malfoy." She corrected, but was ignored.
Everyone was now busy with opening their own presents. Adhara started opening the one from her parents and smiled at what they got her. A pride flag charm.
She frowned slightly when Remus and Sirius walked over to her and gave her a present. "Merry Christmas." They said simultaneously.
She looked at them for a few seconds and reluctantly accepted the gift, not wanting anything to do with Remus. "Thanks." She mumbled and opened it, eyes immediately widening at what was inside.
"It was Remus' idea." Sirius said and gave her another box, but she was too busy looking at the one in her hands to notice.
It was a book. Filled with her mother's photos. Even photos of her and Sirius together.
Adhara frowned when she realized how happy they both looked and looked back at her biological father, who was already looking at her, and then looked at her stepfather, who was also looking at her with a small smile. "Thank you." Her words filled with different emotions, happiness most evident.
Remus smiled genuinely. "You're welcome."
Sirius sat down infront of her and excitedly pushed his gift infront of her. "Go on!"
Adhara chuckled for the first time since she got there and opened it, her mouth dropping in shock. "What- but this means-" she tried as she held up the present.
A dagger with the Black crest on it.
"Adhara Black-Malfoy, as Lord Black, I now give you heirship of the most noble and ancient house of Black." Sirius stated, a warm light going through the room as he finished his sentence.
An heir ring appeared on Adhara's ring-finger, right next to the Malfoy heir ring.
Her and Draco both shared the heirship of the Malfoys, which was why they both had a ring with the Malfoy crest.Adhara's eyes widened, her jaw dropping in shock. "You're serious."
"Don't you dare, padfoot." James and Remus said simultaneously, noticing the expression on his face.
Sirius grinned, "I thought that was obvious from my name."
"You ruined the bloody moment!" Harry exclaimed dramatically, making everyone laugh except Adhara who was still in shock.
"What's this?" Adhara asked as Hermione gave her a present.
She shrugged. "A present. Open it."
Adhara looked at it for a few seconds and then nodded, doing as she said. She tried to suppress the smile that was threatening to come out, but couldn't.
It was a pack of pens, pencils, and lots of notebooks.
"Thank you, Granger."
"You have a nice smile." Hermione blurted out, immediately blushing when her smile got larger.
"Believe it or not, you're one of the two people who made me smile since I got here." Adhara said, making Hermione blush even more.
