"Beauxbatons to Hogwarts"
-THE MALFOY FAMILY WERE EATING DINNER. Adhara noticed the glances that her parents were exchanging so she finally started talking, "What is it?" She asked, looking between them.
"Ara," Lucius began after exchanging one last glance with his wife, "We think it's better for you to go to Hogwarts."
"Hogwarts?!" Adhara asked in shock. Hogwarts was the worst place she could go to. What was wrong with the school she was already attending?! Nothing!
Draco looked delighted, but knew it wasn't his place to talk, so he just watched and listened.
"You can't ignore them forever, sweetheart." Narcissa pointed out softly.
"Yes I can."
"We don't want you so far away, Ara." Lucius stated, "France is way too far. It takes weeks for an owl to reach you. Scotland is way better and Draco can look out for you if the Potters or Sirius Black annoys you."
Adhara frowned in displeasure and anger, but didn't reply. Narcissa sighed and held her daughter's hands, "Ara, this is good for you-"
"He left me, mother." Adhara cut her off, her voice cracking slightly. "I don't want to enter his life."
"I know, darling. I know." Narcissa said and gave her a soft smile, "But you can keep ignoring him. Or you can just talk it out with him, whichever you prefer."
"And we have decided to give you this, incase you need us and an owl takes too long. All you have to do is hold the crystal in your hand for a few seconds and it'll send me a call. I can talk to you through it." Lucius said and gave her a necklace.
The necklace was beautiful. It was a purple crystal with a gold chain. "Why can't I just use this in France, instead?" The young girl asked.
"Because it doesn't work when both holders of the crystals are in different countries." Lucius explained.
Adhara nodded at his explanation, then wore the necklace. "Thanks, father."
Lucius smiled, while Narcissa beamed. "So, is that a yes?" Narcissa asked hopefully.
Adhara nodded reluctantly. "Yes. But if I feel a slight discomfort, is it alright to go back to Beauxbatons?"
"Of course." Lucius replied as if it was obvious, making Adhara smile thankfully.
"Then it's a yes."
"YES!" Draco exclaimed, looking extremely excited, earning a slight glare from his father, with no real intensity behind, for acting like a kid.
Narcissa walked into Adhara's room, holding a bunch of different dresses, skirts, shirts, and pretty much everything.
"Mum, that's a bit too much, don't you think?" Adhara tried pointing out, looking amused.
"Hush, sweetie." Narcissa said and packed the clothes into her daughter's trunk. "I'm not having my beautiful daughter wear ugly clothes."
Adhara smiled fondly. "I don't even have any ugly clothes."
Narcissa gave her an 'are you serious?' look and pointed to the leather jacket which she had on.
"Oi!" Adhara feigned hurt. "I love this jacket, alright? It's stylish."
"It's plain black with no design."
"Like my soul." Adhara mumbled sarcastically.
Narcissa tutted and said, "Your soul is filled with beautiful flowers and bright colors."
"So, you're saying that I should add some flowers onto it?"
Narcissa sighed fondly. "I'm saying you should throw it out, darling."
"Throw what out?" Draco asked as he strolled into the room.
Adhara crossed her arms and gave him a pointed look. "Do you know what knocking is, Dray?"
"Yeah."
"Then, tell me why you didn't do it?"
"Because I didn't feel like it." He simply replied and flopped onto her bed, messing the silk sheets up.
"Draco, get off your sister's bed and help her pack." Narcissa stated after packing away the last dress.
"Why can't the house elves do it?" Draco grumbled, earning a glare from their mum, making both of them pale. One thing they knew was to never mess with their mother. Narcissa Malfoy was an angry woman when she wanted to be.
"Because I just told you to do it."
"Of course, mother." Draco quickly said and rushed out of bed, tripping a few times. "Shut up, Ara." He said as he heard her laughter.
