Chapter Twenty Four

CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR: AFTER SCHOOL

"Good morning"! ngumiti agad ako nang marinig ko ang boses niya, his voice is just enough to make me happy. Ngumiti din siya sa'kin.

He's wearing a light blue jacket that is unzipped, pero mas lalo akong napangiti nang makita ang buhok niya. It's too messy! I chuckled, huminto ako sa paglalakad at huminto din siya.

"Your hair is a mess!" tawa kong sabi sabay ayos sa buhok niya. He's naturally blonde, ang ganda talaga nang buhok niya.

He pouts, "Sorry, hindi kasi ako makapaghintay na makita ka eh," he smiles after before stealing a kiss from cheeks.

I blushed, pero this time hindi ko na hinahide yung ngiti ko. Goddamnit.

"Ako rin." I told him. Lumapit siya sa'kin and slowly holds my hand with his nang mahigpit.

We started walking again towards the entrance of the school. Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero I never imagined na ma-eexperience ko yung ganitong bagay where I will be in a relationship with someone like him or anyone.

Being able to like someone this much, it's so good.

I can feel all the stares nang ibang mga estudyante, they probably can't believe na a Diamante like me would be in a relationship and especially sa kapatid ni Alexander. Huh, naaalala ko na lang yung time na one of my classmates sa klase started talking shit about Ares, it still pisses me off.

He's Ares! Just Ares!

"Heeyyyy!" nahinto ako when Ares started pinching my cheeks.

"What are you thinking about?" tanong niya while still pinching my cheeks. I can't just tell him na merong nag-insulto sa kanya, especially yesterday nung binisita ko siya.

Even though na medyo okay na siya, I still can't make him feel bad!

"Just... you again!" I smirked; his eyes widened sa sinabi ko.

Gusto ko lang naman na malaman niya na siya ang laging nasa isip ko and also because he blushed before dahil sa sinabi ko yesterday, I wanted to see it again.

"I swear, Vivi..." he leans closer to me at niyakap ako nang mahigpit. Hah, he's so warm. I just love this feeling.

"You know, I forgot to say thank you." Simula niya. Medyo nagulat ako sa sinabi niya.

"You helped me yesterday, gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa'yo. I'm so lucky na nakilala kita kaya..." he pulled away as he flashes his possibly—cutest smile ever.

"Will you go on a after school date with me? Today? Tayong dalawa lang!" he asks sabay labas nang maliit na sunflower.

Oh my god... oh my god! Kailangan niya pa talaga akong imbitahan sa isang date after school and dito pa talaga... malapit sa senior lockers namin?

Tinakip ko ang mukha ko dahil sa hiya, jesus christ... why is he like this?

Hindi ko lang talaga mapigilan ang sarili ko ngayon, I want to hide myself and scream because he's so cute! I feel so lucky! Goddamnit!

"Why... are you so cute?" I told him, tinanggal ko ang pagkakatakip sa mukha ko and faced him again.

That's when I realized na kinakabahan siya, he was biting his lower lip at ang kamay niyang hawak ang sunflower ay nanginginig din. Is he actually... nervous? For this? Oh my god. I don't deserve this.
