Chapter Thirty Three

CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE: HOME

"Is it good?" he asks me sabay subo ulet nang sandwich niya sa bunganga ko, natawa ako ng konti because he's acting like a parent trying to make sure that I'm healthy and well-fed.

"A-Ares! Stop..." I laughed softly at hinampas ang chest niya as I try to stop him from making me eat more. Ayaw kong mabusog, baka kakain pa ako mamayang gabi...

"No... you have to eat!" he pouted like a little kid and sinubo ulet yung sandwich sa'kin.

It's finally lunch time and we're not in the lockers or cafeteria just like Alexander and Rina, they're currently together and thank god maayos na silang dalawa. While me and Ares are at the back of the school library just like back then with me and Rina nung nasa elementary pa lang kami.

It's very nostalgic and Ares told me na he brought some food for me, it made me happy.

I can't believe na he made some sandwiches for me? It's so crazy, and it's so cute. I didn't know what to tell him after that because it's the first time that's someone has ever done something like this to me.

The picnic date too after school and ngayon eto.

"But you didn't eat dinner last night, you told me! Tsaka look at you!" saway niya, biting his bottom lip as he scans me from head-to-toe habang nakaupo kaming dalawa.

I told him earlier na hindi ako nakakain nung gabing 'yon but I ate breakfast today to make sure na hindi ako magsusuka and that I have energy today.

But I didn't know na magiging ganito ang reaksyon niya, "What about me?" I asked while trying to chew the food inside my mouth.

"You look like you've lost weight, I don't like that! I want your chubby cheeks, Vivi!" nag-iba ang ekspresyon nang mukha niya and it looked like he's about to cry to which made me flinch, I softly caress his cheeks at hinalikan sila pareho.

"I will try to gain weight okay? Masyado na kasi akong naging busy and you know... other stuff? I'm sorry, okay?" tumawa ulet ako sa kanya.

He nods like a little kid and I pat his head softly, "I'm just worried about you, okay? I want to be the best boyfriend!" he says with his fists raised up, ugh... I can't believe I'm dating someone as cute as him. I poke one of his cheeks at napatawa ulet, he's really cute, isn't he?

This time ako yung unang yumakap sa kanya nang mahigpit.

"Thank you... for being here for me, for being concerned, you're already the best boyfriend for me, Ares." I told him.

He doesn't need to do anything else to be the best boyfriend because being beside him is the best thing ever. Siya lang ang kailangan ko, siya lang. Wala nang iba pa.

"You don't need to thank me, ako nga dapat ang nagpapasalamat sa'yo... Genevieve." Is it just me or there's something hot about Ares calling me by my real name? it's so crazy and hot? Maybe because I'm used to him calling me vivi all the time pero Genevieve? Hindi ko siya ma-explain.

"Hm... me?" I pulled out from the hug and tiningnan siya, I'm looking up at him while his eyes are also trying to meet mine.

Nag-iba ang expression niya, "From the very start, Genevieve... hindi mo ako ni-reject when we first met and you stayed there, you also became my first friend and my first lover... I am so damn lucky to have someone as precious as you," he smiles softly.
