CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN: LEVEL
"Are you sure na hindi mo ko kailang—" I pressed my index finger into Ares' lip sabay ngiti sa kanya ulet. Ares is just concerned na baka hindi magiging maayos ang paguusap namin ni Alexander. I understand pero I can punch kaya kung may may mangyari man, siguradong patay si Alexander sa'kin and Quinten are friends with him so...
Nilakihan ko ang ngiti ko ulet sa kanya.
It's been ten minutes since the start of our lunch break and for a week now... hindi pa rin nakikikain si Alexander kasama samin because of the issue probably with Rina. It shows na he probably feels bad for what he did.
Kaming tatlo lang nasa may locker ulet, wala naman din akong ganang kumain sa cafeteria since may ramen nanaman akong dala para kay Rina and Ares.
Ares didn't like spicy foods kaya nagdala na lang ako nang sandwich na gawa ng maid namin.
Pinunasan ko ang dumi sa lips niya, "I'll be okay...!" I said.
"Tsaka isa pa, Rina knows that I can punch really hard and I'm pretty sure your brother knows how hard I punch... I'll knock him out if he ever does something crazy. So trust me in this." I tried to calm him down, ginulo ko ang buhok niya... he's so cute.
It might not look like it pero kilala ko na si Alexander noon pa, we had the same class during sixth grade pero laging siyang nasa ibang section after namin grumaduate from elementary.
I never cared about him at first pero ngayon... I guess he naturally became my friend. I'll threaten him about CREED para sinubukan niya ako. Huh.
"That's the thing! Ang galing mong sumuntok! Masisira yung mukha niya..." nabaliw ako sa sinabi ni Rina kaya I punched her softly on her cheeks.
You care way too much about Alexander, it's crazy.
"Look... again! Uulitin ko!" I sighed at kinurot ang isa sa mga cheeks ni Rina at Alexander, nagulat silang dalawa at napapikit sa sakit.
"Hindi niyo kasi narinig eh..." I smiled.
"You! Anshaket!!!" narinig kong sabi ni Rina.
"vishi-vish..." Ares is so cute! I can't handle him!
"Alexander is a good person kaya I can handle him, I'll talk to him about your guy's problem with him... trust me. I'm a Diamante after all."

I was so confident like 3 minutes ago since I got here but why am I dealing with this idiot right now?
"Ayaw mong kainin Genevieve?" ang magaling na tanong ni Alexander, bakit ang clear pa rin niyang magsalita habang ang dami niyang nilalamon sa bunganga niya? And why is he eating so much bingo dito? And bakit ako nandito?
Nakatitig lang din sa bingo na binigay niya sa'kin?
"Oh! Don't tell me—diet?" natawa niyang sabi.
Totally, Alexander. Natawa ako sa joke mo.
