MY VALENTINE BOY

Nagising ako sa isang malaki at mahabang text galing kay Quinten at Alexander. When I tell you that I felt chills from the beginning, I did felt some chills and almost felt threw my own phone away.

Why the heck would these two stupid men try to send me a long-ass text? And how did Alexander even get my phone number? Yes we are friends in Facebook but how... my phone... number? I have a feeling that Quinten gave it to him, for sure.

Binasa ko yung text ni Quinten first. It's a valentine's message from him and I didn't even want to read it so I just read the end. It's an 'I love you'.

That's creepy. I swear to god if he sent Rina something like this I will kick his ass. Ni-replyan ko siya agad and threaten him to stay away from Rina. I can't believe that Quinten has a crush on Rina. I mean yes... she's pretty but my half-brother, really?

And I read Alexander's message. Agad ko siyang dinelete because it's basically the same thing as Quinten's but it sounds suspicious kaya dinelete ko.

Goddamn. I can't believe I woke up today without realizing that it's Valentine's day today. Valentine's was something I never really cared about to begin with. I believed that it was a thing for the lovers or para sa mga mag-coconfess sa crush nila.

But... Genevieve, you are almost eighteen. It's a new year and it's February. You have a boyfriend now. It's Ares fucking Cardoza. You have a boyfriend!

I suddenly threw one of my pillows on an impulse with my lips drawing a small smile on my face.

For some reason, I started seeing some pink aura beside me. Maybe that's just me... but I could totally feel the Valentines Vibes right now. I remember Rina telling me girls usually try to make their own chocolates for their crush or lover. Some naman bumibili na lang nang chocolate and flowers.

And I also remember Rina planning to make some chocolate for Alexander. And knowing that Rina absolutely sucks at cooking like me, this eventually failed. Binigyan pa rin niya nang tsokolate pero wala pa ring nangyari. Alexander is stupid, seriously.

Enough of that.

Tumayo ako and opened one of mg secret drawers next sa vanity ko. I gulped from the sight of some chocolates and a pink rose na nabili ko para lang Ares.

Yes. I did it.

I bought a pink rose and some chocolates ONLY for ARES. Namula ako while just imagining his reactions kapag binigay ko 'to sa kanya. Ano kaya ang magiging reaksyon niya?

I'm too crazy and embarrassed just thinking about it.

Pero... he's been too good for me and I need to step up my game by being a better girlfriend. He didn't do anything but comfort me and stay by my side.

He even prepared for our date? Ginagawan din niya ako nang lunch! Nope... I need to do this.

Nagsimula na akong mag-handa at mag-bihis for today's school day.

It's finally the month of February. That means I only have a few months till college and to reality. I have finally realized the truth about college and adulthood last year.
