CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE: HINATA

"A-Ares?" nauutal kong sabi as he walk towards our direksyon, huminto siya sa harap naming while Alexander is still smiling teasingly.

Tinitigan ako ni Ares for like a minute with blank expression tsaka tiningnan si Alexander.

"Kuya, take your arms off around her." He spoke. Kinagat ko ang labi ko dahil sa kaba, this expression of his reminds me of the past... I think when we kissed for the first time.

Pero this time it's more... scary dahil hindi niya pinapakita yung expression niya mismo, it's just blanko.

Alexander chuckled, "Ares... calm down, kinakausap ko lang si Genevieve about something, nothing more!" he explains.

"Taaka isa pa, it's not like you're going to get jealous with me hanging out with your girlfriend... right?" he smirks.

Tinanggal ko ang braso niya na naka-akbay sa'kin at tiningnan siya, "What's with you!? You're an idiot!" I told him, nakakairita siya.

And did he know na nandito nga si Ares? How funny, this is not just some coincidence for sure.

"Genevieve, let's go." Nagulat ako sa sinabi ni Ares na nakatitig na pala sa'kin sabay hawak sa kamay ko nang mahigpit.

"Heeeyyyy, where are you guys going?" Alexander asks, pouting.

"Me and my girlfriend are going to talk about something private kaya... kuya..." Ares pauses and gave his brother a small smile this time.

"...you're going to shop by yourself today, see you!"

Uhm... what? Anong pag-uusapan naming? Could it be about last night? Kung bakit hindi ko siya tinawagan? Is he actually upset about it? I wasn't just really feeling myself because of what I've read last night! But... kailangan ko pa rin na i-explain sa kanya, he might've been worried about me pero siguro ako lang 'yon.

Naglakad kami and stopped in front of McDonalds, we then stepped in the line para maka-order. Are we actually ordering in McDonalds? Like... for real? Hindi naman ako masyadong gutom today, I just remembered that I drank coffee and that's it.

Hindi pa rin ako kinakausap ni Ares, seryoso siya habang chinecheck yung mga pagkain sa menu.

Ares always talks to me and he never ignores me so bakit siya ganito?

"A-Ares..." I whispered next to him, he didn't move his head pero nakita ko ang pag-gilid nang mata niya sa'kin.

"Did I do something wrong? Hindi mo 'ko kinakausap..." I softly muttered, medyo nakakahiya na sinasabi ko 'to sa kanya especially when there's a lot of people around us.

"We'll talk later, we're going to get food first then we'll leave this place." He answered me. I can't even tell kung anong nasa isip niya because of his blank face and no tone voice. I think I really did a mistake by not talking to him last night.

Sinabi ko sa kanya na I'll be a good girlfriend but not what I did last night. I feel really bad now.

Binilisan niya ang pag-order at pagbayad after niya nakuha yung order, he was still holding my hand while doing all of it.

It made me blush na hindi niya talaga tinanggal 'yon. It makes me happy for some reason, but at the same time siguradong maraming makakakita na magkarelasyon kami.
