CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO: I'M HERE

Paano tayo napunta sa ganitong usapan? Oh my god... oh my god. Dapat na ba akong matakot? O kabahan? Yes! What kind of joke is this? I can't believe na I'm really out here looking at myself in the mirror again for like I don't know 100th time?

Kinakabahan ako na baka hindi niya magustuhan ang style ko. But the thing is, when did Genevieve Diamante even cared about her looks or style?

Besides having pink hair that I dyed like months ago?

I just have to look really good, that's the most important thing about everything. Kailangan ko siyang ma-impress.

Of course, especially kung nandun yung pamilya niya, right? I think I remember Rina telling me na half-american si Alexander so there's a possibility na ganon din si Ares right? So does that mean Amerikano yung isa sa mga magulang nila?

Pero on a serious note, kinakabahan talaga ako. I mean it's not just my first time visiting the Cardoza family but it's also my first time visiting my boyfriend's house! Nakakakaba! Kakayanin ko kaya 'to?

Napakagat ako sa labi ko ng maalala ko yung pagkakasabi niya sa'kin nun. It's so sexy and tempting! Para bang hindi niya lang ako iniimbita para mag-aral kasama siya... this is bad!

I've been expecting way too many things from him! It's his fault! Simula pa nung first kiss naming sa storage room, to the lockers at talagang sa teacher's lounge pa!

It's so embarrassing! Paano kung may kumatok? Paano na lang kung may biglang pumasok? Masususpende nanaman ako! And it's because I've been caught making out with him, which is crazier!

Siguro tama naman na 'tong outfit ko.

I wore a green shirt tucked in to my white tennis skirt. Nagsuot na din ako ng white shoes. Makeup? Probably not! Pero... I mean... who knows, di ba?

I blushed while I used the coral colored lip stick for my lips.. I can't believe I'm doing this. I usually only wear lip sticks for outings or meetings with someone.

But this is for Ares, who is my boyfriend.

"Oh my god...." Nagulat ako when the door opened at Nakita ko ang mismong imahe ni Quinten sa salamin.

"Shut the front door!" agad kong binato yung pillow ko sa kanya dahil sa sinabi niya.

This is embarrassing! I should've just locked the door! What is up with his ass? Sinara niya yung pintuan after niya pumasok with a sly smile on his face, that's the kind of smile I hate.

"Genevieve Diamante... wearing a skirt? Are you kidding me?" umupo siya sa higaan ko with his arms crossed.

I roll my eyes. I always wear pants or sweatpants except skirts or shorts. It's just embarrassing. When I'm at school, I wear sweatpants instead of skirts or I ask for a really long school skirt. It's just more comfortable rather than men looking at your legs, maybe that's just me.

"Shut up! You better not tell this to your best friend, Lex or dad!" I told him, placing the coral-colored lipstick sa loob ng drawer ulet.
