may was with enzo at the rehab where bonnie was. the two of them waited in a room for damon and bonnie to meet with them.
"do you feel well enough to travel? cause the minute those anti-magic pills wear off, alex will be able to track you again." enzo told her.
"i feel fine, enzo. actually, i don't feel sick at all. i'm a vampire, i'm not supposed to feel sick. i'm not sure i quite understand any of this." may said in a frustrated tone.
"ah, love. come here." enzo said before wrapped his arms around her shoulders from behind.
she leaned into his touch and placed her hands on top of his arms.
"i just can't believe this is really happening." may said.
"it's not. this is just a... a series of unfortunate events leading up to your ultimate salvation. i swear it." enzo said.
there was a knock on the door and enzo gave may a kiss on the head before opening it, revealing damon and bonnie.
"i have an idea." damon said before bonnie walked away from him.
"no. you don't speak to me. you speak to enzo or may. if you have any ideas on how to keep us from dying, i'm sure he'll be happy to hear them, but i don't want to hear one word from your mouth directed at me. you lost the right to my attention when you decided to leave without saying goodbye." bonnie snapped.
"huh, maybe you're the one who gave stefan the idea to do the same thing to me." may said crossing her arms over her chest.
damon looked between the two girls and had no idea what to say.
"you're driving. he can follow." bonnie said passing enzo her bag, the second part being directed towards damon.

"you know, the odds of us getting through this without a single word being spoken..." enzo began but bonnie interfered.
enzo was driving while may sat in the passenger seat and bonnie was in the back.
"lots of words can be spoken. just don't want him to speak any to me just like may doesn't want stefan to speak any to her." bonnie said.
enzo looked at may who was grinning and he chuckled.
"i thought we'd gotten past the anger stage." enzo asked his girlfriend.
"that was when i thought we could move on from him and his selfishness. and if bonnie is anything like me right now, she's flooded with anger." may said.
"took the words right out of my mouth." bonnie told her.
they pulled up at the cabin and damon parked behind them.
"well, this is... quaint." damon said once they all started walking towards the cabin.
"it's actually quite charming." may argued.
"we'll be safe here for a few hours. i've kept this place off the grid for years." enzo said, grabbing bonnie's bag.
"lonely, cramped, like a prison cell. i can see why you like it." damon said.
"you know what? he's welcome to go back to his musty old mansion far away from here." bonnie said.
"miss the chance to see this den of iniquity? no. oh. cozy." damon said before he looked over at may.
