It was astonishing. The sight was absolutely astonishing. From the moment the (h/c) haired girl had seen the gates from miles away, she knew it was bound to make her jaw drop, and drop it did. It was like something out of a fairy tale. The noble-esque mansion must have cost a large fortune, having not only an enormous plot of land that stretched on for miles but beautiful architecture as well, almost resembling a castle in its own right.
Not only that but the main entrance had wide doors large enough for a giant and the gates appeared silvery in nature. As it stretched on around the entire perimeter of the area, the younger girl couldn't even begin to imagine the cost, especially since there were pearls on them. Her mind became dizzy, feeling incredibly small compared to the luxury surrounding her. She fiddled with her fingers, trying to avert her eyes as they entered the main gate.
She could hear Shota's small chuckles at her reaction but largely ignored him. He must have been well used to the idea of returning to his overly gigantic home. However, that was her first time seeing it since she had woken up. Even if he spoke about it with enthusiasm, it didn't do the estate justice. (Y/n) had just stepped into a world she couldn't even begin to fathom, her heart rate escalating.
As if to tease her, the younger girl suddenly gained the courage to look up, her eyes widening in disbelief. An entire small country of servants lined up along the perfectly paved road to the house, bowing the whole way they drove. She couldn't bring herself to look outside the window any longer. Or at least she thought, but her curious nature pushed her to stare further with a gaping mouth.
Rolling down the window, the red-haired male encouraged the younger girl to stick her head out for a better look. Doing just that, she tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, the male blushing at the sight. It didn't take much to make his cheeks pink, she learned. He was very bashful at nature and easy to please, prompting him to turn red at the simplest of things she did. Then again, that was just the nature of love, wasn't it?
Looking out the window of the car, (Y/n) found a little girl waiting at the front door beside two adults. One was a man with rough copper hair in a pristine suit, possessing sapphire eyes while the other was a slightly younger woman with long black hair and grey eyes. They seemed to stand apart from everyone else who held rigid and respectful postures, and as such, intrigued her greatly.
The car soon approached the front doors, the driveway having pristine white concrete and a marble fountain with gold. It maneuvered to park right in front of the doors, the fountain having moved behind them. The driver then exited the car and held the door open. The red-haired male left first, shooing away the man holding the door and extending his hand for the younger girl to take. As she did, stepping out into the open, she was greeted by everyone in the area.
"Welcome home, Lady (Y/n)!" the servants hummed, clapping in celebration with wide smiles on their faces.
She blushed at the attention and turned her head away to shield her pink cheeks from all of the people. Shota gave an adoring smile, sighing in content at her while the small girl rushed towards them. (Y/n) felt the small thing collide into her, and when she looked down, there was an energetic young girl around the age of 8 or so. She had freckles across her slightly tanned skin, messy red hair placed in childish pigtails at either side of her head.
"I'm happy you're home," she squealed, hugging the older girl happily, "I thought you'd never come back."
It was quite clear to the (h/c) haired girl that the young girl before her was Shota's sister. He wasn't near old enough to have a child that age and it was unlikely he adopted someone that looked so similar to him. The small thing was oddly confident in the lavish area as well, meaning she had lived there for - most likely - her entire life. That being said, it filled (Y/n) with sadness to see her excitement, especially considering she didn't recall a thing either about the house or her.
