With (Y/n) gone once again, leaving Shota in a pit of shivering despair, he tried to occupy his mind. Whether by playing whatever games his younger sister wanted or reading books on philosophy, he couldn't escape the fear building up inside of him. He hated the idea of leaving her on her own in the arms of his enemy. It was demeaning and humiliating, and he had no idea of how things were. Why did giving her freedom have to be so difficult? He wished he could have just been satisfied with the fact that she always did return to him, but he wasn't.

For better or for worse, an unexpected visitor appeared at the door of the Yasojiro estate. The redhead watched from the balcony as a figure exited from the snow-white limo. It had to be someone of status and someone with either close ties with the family or someone who was bold enough to step foot in his estate without permission. However, he hadn't expected it to be both. With wide eyes, his breath caught in his throat, the male choking on seemingly nothing before being brought to his knees.

He watched as the familiar figure approached his door, the redhead trembling with every insecure step they took. With great terror that (Y/n) would return before he was able to remove the threatening presence, he raced down the stairs disregarding his disheveled appearance. Opening the front doors wide, his fears were confirmed as he was greeted with the sight of someone who could easily reinstate the (h/c) haired girl's memories. He didn't want that. He didn't want that at all.

Pulling his friend inside, he slammed the doors and dragged the stuttering boy through the halls. When they entered his study, Shota peered around with a manic pace, shutting windows, drawing blinds, locking doors, and doing whatever else his paranoid mind told him to. He then took a moment to still his heavy breathing and racing heart, gazing up at the white-haired male in front of him.

"I knew it," the younger boy trembled, fiddling with his shirt, "I should have given you notice before coming. But I...just couldn't wait."

Shota didn't know what to feel. Relieved to see a friend safe and sound? Frightened by the possibility of his effect on his darling? None of it seemed like the right answer, and sure enough, his conflicting thoughts were noticeable. In response to his quivering lip and shaking body, the boy across from him lowered his baby blue eyes down to the floor in guilt. He held tightly onto his arm, holding a reserved and humble posture. It was as if he was declaring his submissiveness, more so as he shook while the redhead clenched onto the collar of his loose shirt.

"How did you know?!" the redhead screamed, eyes filled with rage, "I paid a fortune to get rid of all of her papers!"

"I...paid just a bit more. I-I'm sorry."

"You don't expect me to believe that, do you? Those damn officials would do anything for my family! I can get Yamato bribing them that easily, but you? They would have laughed you out of the room!"

"They did..."

With the withdrawn way the younger boy was looking at the floor, his avoiding glances made the redhead more suspicious than ever. He'd never been good at lying. Always a mess when confronted and ever the timid lamb, Takuya would never challenge someone else, especially not Shota. He was supposed to be a good boy, supposed to listen obediently to the redhead no matter what. So why was it that he ignored his suggestion to take a vacation to Echal and instead pried into the matter of the (h/c) haired girl?

"Look, I-I just wanted to see you!"

"Bullshit!" the older male roared, throwing the boy to the wall and watching as he yelped shyly.

"A-Alright, I know she's here. Can I just see her? J...Just for a bit! Please...?"

"Obviously! Why else would you come here! Damn it, Takuya, how do you know? What bastard's head do I have to rip off?! Was it Okura? My sister? A servant?!" A flinch. "Spit it out."
