Nami was quite enthusiastic about the bookstore, pointing out all of the stories that the (h/c) haired girl used to read to her before bed. That being said, (Y/n) was fairly surprised to find the books were dramatic romances, mainly revolving around a prince. As the younger girl began to pick out different new releases from that same genre, she was especially delighted by the stories in which possessed a noble and intelligent prince. At that point, it became quite clear that the red-haired girl had a crush on the Vethelan prince that had visited the charity event not too long ago.

This was further elaborated on due to the fact she kept dragging her and Shota towards the books written on the Vethelan royal family. She was very excited about sitting down and reading one of them, her cheeks blushing a faint pink as she read over the contents. That being said, despite her joy in reading about the prince and his family, her older brother seemed hardly pleased at it. In fact, he crossed his arms over his chest and pouted though he did not say a word against it.

Instead, he sat across from his younger sister and picked out a book of his own, motioning for the (h/c) haired girl to join him. While reluctant at first and somewhat bashful at the invitation, she did end up sitting beside him nonetheless even though she did keep her distance. Still, the male seemed hardly pleased with her decision and made it a point to slide over to her instead, placing the book in front of the both of them.

They read together quietly, both of them very much interested in the words inscribed on the page. The male grinned to himself with pleasure as he watched her eyes light up in curiosity. It was always an emotion that suited her well. Through the countless weeks and months he had known her, she was always so greedy for knowledge. Whether it was a secret that was being kept from her or simply trying to figure out what presents he had bought for her birthday, she had always been glistening with the want to know.

Often, it did bring trouble to her or those around her, but in most cases, she often stumbled upon something wonderful. It was likely the reason she was able to get along so well with others and get to the bottom of their hearts. It was also the reason she was such a bright young lady, able to gain a scholarship to the most prestigious schools in the world. He couldn't help but feel proud of such accomplishments, even if it wasn't him that was responsible for the achievements or her character as a whole.

As he watched her eyes scan the page, his heart fluttered with each and every facial expression she made. When the main character experienced a tragedy, she gave a contemplative face and when there was an explicit scene, she gave a bashful look and blushed brightly. She took in every single fact she was given with a focused look, her eyes unwavering as she read further.

Shota read as fast as he could to finish the page. Though embarrassed to think about it too deeply, the male did so in order to pause for a moment. While she continued to read over the page carefully, he took the time to watch her soft features contort to something more than just interest. Her curiosity or satisfaction elated him and he couldn't help but watch her with shimmering eyes as she read further. When she finished, she would look back at him, making him burn up in further embarrassment before he turned the page to repeat the process.

Nami watched as closely as she could, under the guise that she was reading her romance novels. She would peek over the cover of her book to watch her older brother blush at the proximity of the young woman he adored so much. It made her smile wide. To note that the trip she had planned had drawn them together so much pleased her greatly, her aura sparkling with joy.

And as Shota looked over at her to ensure she was not bored or upset, she panicked, almost losing grip on her book. She then hid her face behind the cover, making her brother smile gently at her support. It did not go past him how she wished for him to be happy, and truth be told, he was more than just grateful for it. If she had been against it, he would have been incredibly conflicted. But there she was, smiling at his relationship and even helping to foster it lovingly. Her loyalty astounded him. How lucky he was to have such a sweet angel for a sister.
