It had been another week of coy interactions between Shota and (Y/n), hesitation but some form of desire in both of them. Perhaps it was more heightened on the former's part, but the latter wasn't at all uninterested in him. In fact, the more time went on, the more she valued his presence with her, and the more she wanted to accept him. Of course, it wasn't as easy as she would have thought it would be, her uncertainty in who she used to be preventing her in some small way. It became a recurring problem, she learned.

Being in the manor with him every day made her tense in nervousness. It wasn't as though she wasn't used to seeing him, but upon realizing her newfound feelings towards him, it was clear that being around him messed not only with her heart but her head as well. She just hoped he didn't notice the blush that would coat her cheeks when he came near, but in truth, he likely did, his keen eyes noticing the tiniest of details. The younger girl had also come to notice he scrutinized her more than anything else in order to ensure both her health and happiness. As she thought about it, her cheeks burned.

The feelings she had come to have for him were precisely why she was so relieved to be getting out of the estate, earning back the independence she adored. As she straightened the school uniform she had been given, she looked at herself in the mirror, attempting to quell the excitement bursting out of her. Delighted about the prospect of having some small purpose in her everyday life, she quickly gathered the supplies the red-haired male had Okura fetch her.

Rushing down the hallway and the stairs, she attempted to skip breakfast in hopes of arriving at the university faster, but she was soon snatched up by Shota. He gave a somewhat frustrated and somewhat teasing smile at her for trying to skip her first meal of the day and quickly escorted her to the dining room. Nami was already digging into her meal, Okura and Narcisa encouraging her to eat all of the fruits and vegetables off of her plate. He then lifted up his head and greeted the two arriving.

"My lady, the Drisless National Institution uniform looks stunning on you. I'm sure Master Shota is quite pleased."

"Okura."

The red-haired male coughed, lifting his fist to his lips. It was a brief warning to the orange-haired male not to comment on his clearly flustered nature. As the (h/c) haired girl turned to see why he had called the older man's name, it became obvious the male was enthralled with the outfit on her. He refused to so much as look at her for fear he would give away his interest, but she could notice him occasionally stealing a glance before shyly looking away to preserve what little dignity he had left.

It made her blush to think he found her attractive in that uniform. She hadn't truly thought about his tastes in fashion before. Most everything he had worn was picked out by Okura while she wore what Nami had suggested to her. He had given her compliments on her outfits before but he was typically never so interested. Or perhaps he was but he took measures to hide it as best as he could, but while looking at her then, he couldn't hide it in the slightest.

As he pushed her chair into the table, he sat down beside her, attempting to ignore the way the uniform complimented her. The two ate breakfast calmly, neither having the courage to speak to the other. While the older of the two occasionally attempted to start up a conversation, turning his head to look at her, her potential reaction nonetheless intimidated him. In the end, he shied away. It was only when Okura broke the silence did the two suddenly have the courage to speak albeit indirectly.

"Today will mark the first day in university," the ginger chuckled, watching the two avoiding eye contact, "What do you believe is the thing you're most looking forward to?"

"The lectures! Or maybe...maybe all of the people I can befriend? I'm not sure yet. I probably won't have the courage to speak to anyone, but it's nice to think I'll meet people who share similar interests as me."
