The male that showed the younger girl around was very enthusiastic about the school. He took great pride in both showing her the area and accompanying her during it. In fact, he said that he had never been acquainted with someone as wealthy as her. Even when she said she didn't have access to any money herself, he commented that being the fiancee of a Yasojiro was practically the same thing. It seemed that even there, Shota's family name carried great influence.

"I mean, of course, there are other families from distinguished families. This is a school that attracts only the wealthiest and most talented individuals from around the world. It's something that everyone here takes to heart. Though...out of all of them, the only family that could rival the Yasojiro's nobility would be the Akahito's themselves."

"The plaque on the statue said that name as well."

"Ah, yeah. I'm not exactly why, but the Akahito's have a lot of land, and when I say a lot, I mean more than a country's worth. The university was built on their grounds, and they contributed to its success, even now. It's been around for over four hundred years."

The (h/c) haired girl gave an awe of surprise, applauding the history of the college. It seemed it was more distinguished than she had previously thought, having been used to privately teach nobles and royalty alike. However, it had come to her attention that she had been accepted to the university even before being acquainted with the red-haired male. In fact, he told her she was given a hefty scholarship in exchange for attending.

So to think she had been accepted into such a prestigious school truly confirmed the male's insistence that she was quite an intelligent young woman. Some of the brightest minds in history had been nurtured at that university, and she was starting her studies there. Her heart almost couldn't take the excitement. The young man that showed her around seemed to laugh in his understanding of her pride.

"I'll help you around the campus for the next few days, showing you to your classes, helping pick out a club, etcetera. If you need anything, I'm here to help, but for the time being, let me take you to your first class."

. . .

The classes were far more entertaining than the younger girl had hoped. The professors were eager to teach and the classes had comfortable seating places separated from other students. The class sizes were smaller than she had thought, likely to allow for more specified teaching for individuals as well as a higher staff-to-student ratio. She was thrilled at the prospect of refining her mind after a few weeks in the red-haired male's home, not that it was boring.

While she had attempted to connect with a few other classmates, they seemed unbothered by her presence. Rather, most avoided her. Whether it was because they were antisocial, in a bad mood, or focused on their studies, she found that she was only able to have a brief conversation. She also figured that because she had transferred late into the first semester, a few students were unnerved by her presence.

The lecture the younger girl had been in for the past hour and a half had come to a conclusion, and she gathered her supplies. The bodyguards that had accompanied her the entire day had not spoken unless they believed she needed something. Most of the time, they tried to stay out of her way as if they didn't exist at all, but that was probably what made her most uncomfortable. Even when the member of the welcoming committee had come to see her, they gave cold gazes, not reacting unless they believed it was necessary.

"I'm sure it's a little hard to make friends right now," the male hummed, giving an apologetic look as he took the younger girl through the luxurious hallways, "but I promise you'll be popular in no time. It's the power of the Yasojiro name, after all."
