JUNGKOOK P.O.V.
Jungkook unfastened his seatbelt before gently opening the car door and stepping out, shutting it quietly behind him as he waited for his two friends. The overall ride to the hair place Lisa had mentioned had taken forty minutes and he was surprised to realise that the shop was quite a fair distance away from his small town and instead was in a completely new looking area, he could immediately tell that the people living around here were well with money of the shops and houses were anything to go by. He couldn't help but wonder if the two females lived in an area like this, much like his hyungs probably did.
He walked over towards the pavement and stood against one of the many lamp posts that were dotted around, although none of them were lit up yet as it wasn't dark enough. He watched as the passenger side door opened and Lisa come barreling out, shutting the door loudly behind her as she hopped on over towards the younger. "I'll take you to my regular hairdresser.
They're honestly amazing and their work is simply to die for. I ended up getting them on my first visit here and they're honestly so nice, they'll make you feel right at home Jungkookie." His eyebrows furrowed slightly at the females wording, taking notice of the lack of gender tones. "They?" he questioned quietly, his eyes watching as Jennie climbed out of the car and locked it, rounding the red vehicle and walking towards them.
"Oh, yes!" Lisa hummed out and linked her arm with Jungkook's, dragging him along as she walked. "They're nonbinary and don't really prefer the whole she and him pronouns. Sorry, I should've told you this before but they prefer using they and them pronouns. It's okay if you don't quite understand, I didn't either at first." He made a small noise of understanding and nodded, quick to come to an understanding.
It wasn't his first time experiencing something like this since Yoobin had experimented with different pronouns awhile ago and they/them had been a big factor of that. "I understand now. My best friend tried using those types of pronouns once but he stopped after he realised he preferred more masculine pronouns." he explained, continuing to trail behind the female.
Lisa nodded as she continued walking, briskly turning a right corner. "That's cool! We have a friend who's currently doing something similar although they aren't really sure on what type of pronouns they prefer just yet." Jungkook nodded and smiled slightly, he couldn't help but find it nice that he had even more people that he could be himself around and not feel self conscious and constantly overthink every little action and word. Sure, no one could ever beat his best friend in that compartment but he had a feeling soon his soulmates would be sharing that spot.
He finally trailed around the corner himself and immediately felt his eyes widen at the sight of the black, gothic looking building in front of him. He truly hadn't seen anything like it so far in his years spent in Seoul, he also hadn't seen anything like it back home in Busan either. "Woah," he breathed out as they came to a stop in front of it and he figured this must be the place that Lisa had been mentioning. His eyes greedily drank it in, trying to take in everything as he didn't want to accidentally over look something.
The building itself looked old, like something you would probably find back in the Victorian era. His eyes flickered towards the window where he immediately took notice of all the different stickers that were stuck on the glass, ranging from bats to different supernatural creatures that he hadn't quite seen before. He also took notice of the small black shining fairy lights that were dangling on the inside of the windows and Jungkook couldn't help but find it pretty, he couldn't to see what the inside looked like.
Lastly his eyes flickered upwards where the shop sign was dangling and felt his eyebrows furrow as he caught sight of the letters written in a neat, white font. It was a word he hadn't seen before and he couldn't help but wonder about the meaning behind it and why the owner had decided to choose it.
