JUNGKOOK P.O.V.
"What? You think there's another one of us out there?" Taehyung's voice rang out, stopping Jungkook from opening the door. He hadn't realised that they were still talking and he knew he shouldn't be eavesdropping on a private matter that didn't concern him but he couldn't help it, his curiosity was already piqued.
"That can't be possible. I thought Taehyung was the last one and besides, don't you think we would've already found the person if that was the case?" It was Hoseok who spoke this time, his tone sounding confused. "Not if the bond is on the early stages of forming. We find Taehyung-ah because the bond had nearly finished forming, we could easily sense it through our own." Seokjin said, sounding just as confused.
"Jin's right, I could hardly feel the bond but it was there. I could feel it calling out for me but it was gone before I could even process what I was feeling. There's another half of us and I think the person is already here," Namjoon spoke up, earning small gasps from the others. "You mean already here in the school? How?" It was Jimin who spoke up this time barely masking his surprise.
"I believe so. I could feel that they were close, I wouldn't have been able to feel as clearly if they weren't in the building. I think it's someone who is attending this school," Namjoon answered and Jungkook could practically feel the confidence behind the leaders words. He was struggling to follow along though, he didn't understand what they were talking about.
"Joonie hyung isn't the only one who felt something yesterday," Taehyung spoke again, obvious nervousness clear in his voice. "When I was washing the pots with Jungkook-ah I felt this sudden pressure over my mark, like something was trying to call out but couldn't." he paused suddenly, "that's not all though. Jungkook-ah kept touching his wrist, like something was bothering him."
Jungkook felt uneasy all of a sudden, his hand loosely cupping the wrist that bared the strange bruise. "I want everyone to keep a close eye on him. It might have just been a coincidence but we need to be certain before we cross him off, if three of us have felt something then I'm certain there's someone else."
"Three?" Jimin questioned, only being aware of Namjoon and Taehyung. "Yoongi's mark started burning yesterday along with feeling high signs of distress when he was walking back from class, it was before he found Jungkook-ah."
No one spoke after that and Jungkook took that as the perfection opportunity to walk in, pretending like he hadn't just been listening to half of their private conversation. He knew it was wrong and yes, he felt guilty but they had been talking about him behind his back which made him feel less guilty about listening in.
"Hm did Taehyung hyung eat all the toast?" he questioned, cringing as he still hadn't found a replacement name for Taehyung that didn't sound terrible. It seemed the older felt the same, "please call me Tae hyung or TaeTae, anything but that." The younger nodded his head quickly, glad to have something different to call Taehyung.
"There's still some slices left, did you want some?" Seokjin spoke up causing Jungkook to shake his head, the toast wouldn't be for him. "No, Yoongi hyung wanted some." and it was in that moment that Yoongi walked in, making a beeline straight for the toast.

Jungkook awkwardly stood besides Yugyeom, eyeing all the students that were now shirtless and waiting for the class to get started. The both of them had opted just to take off their blazes, not feeling too confident to go about shirtless. The teacher had told everyone to make themselves comfortable as they would be learning the basics of hand to hand combat today and both of the males weren't really excited for it.
"Everyone face your partner for today's lesson," Minho yelled out and everyone quickly scrambled to face their chosen partner. Jungkook looked at Yugyeom and shot him a quick smile which was quickly returned, they had both decided to work together like they had originally agreed to do.
Thankfully Taehyung and Jimin were okay with it as they had already decided to work together.
"Now, you want to pay close attention to your opponent. Check if they have a weak spot, they might've been hurt in a challenge prior to this one, you can use that to your advantage." that made sense, if they were already hurt it would be easier to take them down and win. "Of course, your opponent might have already done that and now deciding their first attack. You need to be quick on your feet and agile, you won't get anywhere if you're just stood there."
Minho then placed his arms in front of his face, fists clenched. "Many people aim for the face and neck first, sure it's effective but completely obvious. Holding your arms here makes it a lot more difficult, but it also leaves your bottom half open," as he spoke he slumped his back a little, covering his front a little. "This stance is important but it is also difficult to come out of without leaving things open."
This stance wasn't new to Jungkook, he had used it many times when he was still young and people started noticing he was an unmarked. His eyes widened slightly as the teacher threw two sharp jabs at his opponent who was also one of the gym teachers, luckily the punches were blocked.
"Be sharp and quick when throwing your punches. Some people like to throw the first punch while others like to wait for their opponent to throw the first," he pulled back and out of his stance easily, "the way you form your fist is important. It is extremely important that you align your first two knuckles in your hand with the bones in your forearm. This helps your structure and prevents you from hurting yourself," he formed a fist again, demonstrating what he meant.
Jungkook found himself coping the actions, forming his hands into fists and mimicking the stance from before. He could easily stop out of it now but he wasn't sure how easy it would be once he's actually fighting someone, "I've seen countless people hit with their last two knuckles and not surprisingly break their hand, which obviously impedes your ability to fight."
He winced at the thought, he had never broken his hand before but just thinking about it seems painful. Come to think of it, he had never broken a bone before even though he was extremely clumsy.
"Today we're just going to practise the stances and if everyone gets it down we'll move onto punching and practising real fights." Minho announces and that's all everyone needed to start getting into stances, some getting it straight away and others not so much.
Jungkook focused on Yugyeom and watched as he got into the stance, although his footing and arms were a little out of place. "Your arms are too low and your feet are too close together, you'll probably fall if you keep them like that." Jungkook says, stepping forwards and nudging the males feet away from each other before grabbing his arms, moving them to where they needed to be.
"Thanks Kookie!" Yugyeom thanked cheerily, glad that his friend had helped without him asking for it.
Update? Yes!
I went for a walk yesterday and it was surprisingly refreshing to get out of the house for a couple of hours. It was fun.
Have you ever broken a bone?
