JUNGKOOK P.O.V.
Jungkook nervously stood by the table as he watched Yugyeom talk to the lady that was in charge of the table, he had decided to let his new found friend go first as he wanted to try and calm his nerves, he really didn't want to embarrass himself.
His stomach was twisting around nervously, making him feel sick almost. He sighed and looked around at his surroundings, building one was nicer than he expected it to be. Jungkook had read that each building was bigger than the other, but the biggest buildings were four and five, those were the buildings that the classes took place, so it made sense to him.
He was fairly surprised by how many new comers there was, most were looking nervous and confused as they tried to navigate their way through. Some of them were holding different coloured papers, which Jungkook assumed linked to their houses.
"Hey Jungkook, it's your turn!" Yugyeom announced, breaking him from his train of thoughts. He nodded and glanced at the male, noticing a pale blue paper held tightly in his hand. That was new, he hadn't seen anyone with that colour paper yet.
Jungkook sighed and nervously walked to the front of the table, nervously smiling at the woman who smiled back sweetly. "What's your name love?" She asked, getting ready to shift through the mountain of papers she had laid out in front of her, all a range of colours.
"Oh, um, Jeon Jungkook." He answered her question, feeling extremely awkward. Maybe there would be a class in which Jungkook could learn to not be so socially awkward.
The sound of crinkling paper met his ears as he watched the woman shift through them, muttering the word 'Jeon' under her breath multiple times, as if to not forget.
This went on for a minute or so before she let out a surprised gasp, her holding a dark red piece of paper. She looked up and Jungkook curiously and almost confused, making him shift in slight discomfort. It didn't last long though as she smiled widely and held the paper out for him, to which he hesitatingly grabbed.
"Congratulations Jeon Jungkook. Your class of house is Bangtan and your room number is 013, if you happen to forget don't panic, it's all written down on your piece of paper." She paused for a moment, "you'll receive your schedule tomorrow morning and your uniform should be back at the dorms. Your roommates will help you with anything you may need."
Jungkook nodded and stepped away from the table and walking back towards Yugyeom, who was looking rather excited. "Aw, we aren't in the same house but that's okay, there's still a chance we might have some classes together."
—
Jungkook along with Yugyeom slowly entered the main hall, where many of the new comers were already seated and waiting for the welcoming to start. Before he could get a proper look around Yugyeom was already dragging him towards two seats in the back, talking excitedly about everything he expected.
Jungkook smiled and shook his head, gratefully sitting down in one of the two chairs with Yugyeom following close behind. He relaxed and took this time to look around, carefully looking at everyone in the room. His eyes fell onto a boy a few rows down from him and noticed that he had the same colour paper as Yugyeom, he figured that they must be in the same house.
Feeling curious about his own paper he carried on looking around, trying to see if anyone else had been given the same coloured paper he had. Jungkook frowned though as he realised no one else shared his colour, and he was certain that all of the new comers were now all here. It was strange to him, there was at least two or three of the same colours, but yet no one else shared his colour.
"Good morning students and welcome to Divinity private academy. I won't keep you long as I know many of you are excited to start and meet your house members, and I know the house members are just as excited to finally meet their new members." a new voice boomed out, effectively breaking Jungkook out of his thoughts. It didn't take a genius to figure out that this new person was the headmaster, the power he carried around with him was enough to make that obvious.
"My name is Kim Yoosong, the headmaster and founder of Divinity private academy. This school offers many opportunities and classes, now as new students you will be required to take all classes chosen for you by your house leader. But in the end it is up to you if you want to carry on or change classes," the headmaster went on, Jungkook listening intently to everything being spoken. "you will be apart of your house until the day you leave, or if you decide to leave."
"Everything you may need has been left with your house leader, that includes your schedule and uniform. Your uniform will be the colour of your house and you will wear it with pride, at the end of every semester each house will compete in challenges for the house cup." the headmaster then gestured towards the screen which was now switched on, revealing each house and also showing a picture of the house cup.
"At the moment house Bangtan is in the lead and have been for awhile now, I will be greatly surprised if they do not win the cup." Jungkook's eyes widened slightly, that was his house. They had over a thousand points and were without a doubt in the lead, "now, classes have ended early so your house members should be all ready to welcome you. Good luck to you all and may the best house win."
With that being said the headmaster silently walked away, leaving the new students to digest everything that they had just been told.
Jungkook couldn't help but laugh quietly, the entire thing made him feel like he was living in a Harry Potter movie.
Update? Yes!
Honestly this entire idea came to me after I binged watch all Harry Potter movies, so don't be surprised if there's a Harry Potter reference here and there. I took inspiration from the houses and also the house cup from the movies and I think it might be cool.
May the 4th be with you!
Stay safe!
