JUNGKOOK P.O.V.
Jungkook had decided against eating the breakfast that Seokjin had made that morning after being informed that he would be spending his morning in gym class, he didn't want to risk having a full stomach and instead settled on a small bowl of cereal, choosing to ignore the displeased looks he was being given by mostly everyone seated on the table, Yoongi wasn't awake yet but nobody seemed phased by that fact.
He stopped himself sighing once he caught Jimin's worried gaze, knowing what was about to happen he decided to start a conversation, hoping to distract everyone. "Where's Yoongi?" he asked curiously, he already knew the answer but he supposed it was better than nothing.
Hoseok and Seokjin shared a knowing look before Taehyung's voice rang out, "he's still asleep. We normally let him sleep in because he sometimes stays awake completing work, but I think its time to wake him so he isn't late to his first class." he explained, about to stand up but stopped shortly as Namjoon laid a hand on his shoulder.
"I actually need to talk to you guys about something important. Jungkook-ah if you don't mind could you go and wake Yoongi up?" Namjoon asked, now looking over at the younger who was just about finished with his cereal.
"Won't he mind? I don't want to disturb him," Jungkook trailed off, he had only been here for roughly three days but he still felt like he was disturbing the other members by being here, which is why he had cooped himself up in his room, only coming out for food or when it was time for class.
"Nonsense, you won't disturb him. You remember where his room is, right?" It was Seokjin who spoke this time, using the same gentle tone he always uses when speaking to Jungkook. The younger had seen the older use the same tone while speaking with the other members too, but it was slightly different from the way he spoke to Jungkook.
The younger nodded his head and quickly stood from his chair, "yeah, I remember." was all he said before he walked towards the sink and gave his bowl and spoon a quick wash before he placed it onto the draining board to dry. He missed the way the others were watching him, fond expressions on their faces as they watched the younger walk out of the kitchen.
--
Jungkook was glad that Taehyung had decided to point out everyone's room, in case he needed them for something or if there was an emergency was the older males reasoning to do so. He never thought it would come in useful so early but he was glad, he didn't really want to be lingering around while the others had an important conversation.
He came to a stop in front of Yoongi's door and couldn't help but smile, the door had been painted a matte black which he couldn't help but find amusing, the colour matched the older male well.
Taking a deep breath he grabbed the door knob and slowly opened the door, not wanting to wake the male up yet. He had witnessed how the older tended to stay up a lot later than the rest of them did and couldn't help but feel worried, he knew what lack of sleep did to the body, having experienced it himself. He hoped Yoongi had gotten enough sleep last night, hell, he hoped everyone had gotten enough sleep last night.
They had gotten half way through the third pirates of the caribbean movie before Taehyung starting complaining about being tired, which prompted Seokjin to usher everyone to bed, including Yoongi.
Jungkook quietly slipped into the room, the door creaking shut behind him. He cringed and wearily looked towards the bed only to be greeted by a lump in the covers which was without a doubt Yoongi, he couldn't help but smile as he found the sight cute.
He walked over towards the bed and hesitantly reached out for the comforter, he couldn't see the older male since the comforter had been draped over the males head. Gathering his courage he slowly pulled back the comforter and it was then he suddenly felt bad about what he was about to do, this must have been the first time that he had seen the male look so relaxed.
Jungkook smiled apologetically as he tapped Yoongi's cheek, hoping that would be enough to get the male back in the land of the living. He sighed as he was greeted with nothing, not even a twitch.
"Yoongi you need to wake up or you're going to be late for class," he said, putting a little bit more force behind his tapping than before. He waited with baited breath but once again the sleeping male didn't react, was he really this difficult to wake up?
"Yoongi!" he yelled, practically slapping the older males cheek at that point, mentally apologising each time his palm made contact. Jungkook gaped at the lack of reaction, surely anyone would react to that.
Jungkook sighed and shook his head, it was clear that Yoongi wouldn't be waking up anytime soon, maybe it would've been better if one of the other members woke him up. With his mind made up he turned and was about to walk out of the room but stopped short as he felt a hand clamp around his wrist, before he could even process what was happening, he was being tugged backwards.
He let out a startled yelp as he fell onto a solid surface and he didn't even have to look behind him to know that he had landed on Yoongi, the tired groan that echoed through the quiet room giving everything away.
Jungkook's cheeks flushed as he felt arms circling around his waist, a head coming to rest onto his shoulder. "Good morning little one," Yoongi rasped and he shivered as he felt the older males warm breath against his ear and he was certain Yoongi had felt him shiver, that fact alone made him feel embarrassed.
"Did the others make you come get me?" The older asked quietly, stifling a yawn as he did so. Jungkook nodded quickly, willing himself to forget the arms wrapped around his waist and the way they made him feel safe, protected. "Yeah, Namjoon hyung wanted to talk with the others and asked me to come and wake you." he explained, he was curious to know what was so important but he knew it wasn't his place to know.
Yoongi hummed and nodded his head, giving the younger males waist a quick squeeze before he gently brushed Jungkook off to the side so he could climb out of the bed. "Alright then little one, you can go back now. Make sure Taehyung hasn't eaten all the toast, I'm sick of making my own all the time." He muttered before walking into the bathroom, leaving the younger alone.
Jungkook slowly blinked, frowning slightly at the loss of contact. He quickly shook his head and scrambled off the bed, leaving the bedroom just as quick. Sighing he leaned against the wall, patting his cheeks as if it would help the blush fade away quicker. He wasn't sure why he reacted like this around them but he knew one thing for sure, he refused to catch feelings for the members.
He wouldn't.
