JUNGKOOK P.O.V.
Jungkook took another glance around at his new room before humming and walking towards the door that lead to the bathroom. He opened the door and stepped inside and his breath left him as soon as his eyes caught sight of the shower, he really shouldn't have been surprised at this point but he was.
If he was being honest he was expecting a noraml shower with a normal shower curtain draped around it, just like the one he had in his shared apartment. But instead he was greeted with the sight of shiny black wall tiles and a shower with fully glass sliding doors, no shower curtain in sight.
He shook and glanced back at the door, noticing that it had a lock. Jungkook sighed and smiled in relief, walking back towards the door and locking it. He wouldn't take any chances of any of his roommates walking in on him while he was showering.
Yoobin had walked in on him once and to his horror his best friend had already seen everything before Jungkook could even grab the towel and try to cover himself, he remembers how both of them couldn't even look at each other for a good few weeks, both of them scarred and horrfied by what had happened. They had both agreed to not talk about it, but sometimes it would randomly pop into his head leaving him feeling all new kinds of mortified and embarrassed.
Jungkook shivered and shook his head, brushing the memory away and back into the depths of his mind, where it belonged with all the other embarrassing memories of his. Instead he walked towards the shower and gently slid the door open, surprised at how smooth and soundless it moved. He was expecting it to make a little bit of noise, seeing as the door was made out of glass.
He curiously peaked his head inside and felt his eyebrows furrow, there were many buttons and Jungkook wasn't sure which one turned the shower on. He had never seen a shower with this many buttons and it was slightly confusing, he would never understand why someone thought a shower needed this many buttons.
His eyes then fell onto a button that was slightly bigger than the rest and he shrugged, reaching out for it. He pressed down at the button and squeaked out in surprise as his sleeve was quickly soaked in water, pouting he quickly moved his arm out of the shower, not wanting to get his hoodie even more soaked than it was.
Sighing he moved further back and stripped himself out of his hoodie, letting it fall to the floor as he didn't see anywhere else he could place it. He would have to ask where they washed the clothes, he couldn't remember seeing a washing machine when he was in the kitchen but maybe he had overlooked. The rest of his clothes soon followed and he was left standing in the middle of his bathroom, naked as the day he had been born. He felt his cheeks flush as he quickly moved and hopped in the shower, sighing out in relief as the warm water soothed his aching limbs.
Jungkook closed his eyes and allowed himself to get sucked into his thoughts, letting the water relax his muscles. He had never been overly confident in his body but he would amdit that it had gotten worse after he had turned sixteen, he hated seeing his body uncovered as it was a sinking reminder that he didn't have a mark like everyone else did. It was a sinking reminder that he didn't have anyone out there made for him, no one was ever going to love him in a way a soulmate was meant to.
He sighed and shook his head, opening his eyes and blindly grabbing the first bottle he saw. He flipped it over and read the writing, quickly realising he had grabbed a bottle of strawberry and vanilla scented shampoo. Uncapping the lid he early brought it towards his nose, inhaling slowly he was greeted by the strong scent of stawberry and vanilla, the vanilla wasn't as strong but Jungkook could still pick up hints of the cake like smell.
The smell reminded him of the birthday cake Yoobin had managed to make last minute, making sure to use Jungkook's favourite fruits which had included strawberries as well as bannanas. He chuckled and squirted a healthy amount on his hand before placing the bottle down and starts to gently rub the shampoo into his hair. He was glad that they had stocked the bathroom up with everything he would need as that was something he had forgotten to bring with him, he supposed it had simply slipped his mind.
Although he would have to admit, he had never owned a bottle of shampoo that smelt this good. He hoped he would be able to get more once he ran out, but from what he's seen so far he's sure that won't be an issue.
Humming a small familiar tune to himself he closed his eyes and stood under the shower head again, washing away the nice scented shampoo. Then his eyes were open again and he was reaching for a nice looking pink bottle but before he could grab it his eyes fell onto his wrist, or more importantly the black smudged mark that covered half of his wrist.
Pulling his arm away he squinted closer at the mark and thinking that it must have been dirt scrubbed at it, frowning as the mark didn't dissappear or fade. It was still there, almost mokcingly.
It was then another thought appeared in his mind, he must have hurt myself more than he thought he did when he had been knocked over by Taehyung. He snorted in disblief and shook his head, another bruise added to the collection of the ones scattered around his body because apparanetly he didn't know how to walk in a straight line and loved bumping into things.
With that Jungkook carried on with his shower, blissfully unaware of the surprises that the universe had in store for him.
Update? Yes!
