JUNGKOOK P.O.V.
Jungkook guiltily lowered his head as he spotted the genuine look of disappointed on each members face, he doesn't even think his parents have ever been this disappointed in him.
"Where have you been Jungkook-ah? We thought something happened to you," Yoongi spoke up, his arms crossed over his chest. The younger flinched slightly at the tone of the older males voice, it was the same tone he had when talking to Sehun.
He thought about lying but quickly shook that though away, something about lying to his members didn't sit well with him. "I w-was at the library. I'm sorry, I didn't realise how late it had gotten until I looked at the clock." he explained, cursing himself for his stutter at the beginning.
"You were at the library? Why?" Seokjin questioned his tone giving away his confusion as he stared at the youngest member. Jungkook tensed at the questioned, he hadn't expected them to want to know the reason why he was at the library. He knew he couldn't tell them the truth in fear of them finding out he was an unmarked, they had been nice to him and he didn't want to risk them treating him differently.
"Um, I was looking for a book but it turns out they didn't have it." he lied, hoping they would believe his lame excuse. It was silent for a moment and he slowly looked up in confusion, fighting the urge to look back down as he caught Namjoon's gaze.
"Oh, alright then. We can have dinner now that Jungkook's here," Seokjin paused for a moment, looking at the younger. "Little one, come help me in the kitchen."
--
After dinner Jungkook had gone straight to his room, coming up with a lame excuse as to why he wouldn't be joining the others for movie night. If any of them didn't believe they kept quiet which made him thankful, he just wanted to be alone so he could process all the new information that plagued his mind.
He had changed into an oversized baggy blue hoodie before falling face first into his bed, his mind already replaying the events of today. He sighed and flipped onto his back, his eyes closing as he tried to make sense of everything he had learnt.
Was there a chance that the bond Namjoon had mentioned was actually soul bonding? But if that was the case then it meant that the members were also unmarked, well used to be. It didn't make sense to him, he had grown up with the information that unmarked people didn't have someone out there that were made for them, they were destined to be alone and wouldn't experience the same happiness as people with soulmates would.
Now he was to believe that unmarked people could actually experience that? That his soul would magically bond with other peoples, that he would be numerous people's over half? It sounded like utter and complete rubbish to him. Jungkook agreed with the ones who thought it was a myth because it probably was, something made to mess with the unmarked, something that would get their hopes up to only be crushed down again.
He let out a quiet scoff, shaking his head in disbelief. He couldn't believe that he actually got his hopes up for nothing, he should've realised the moment he started reading that it wasn't real. He couldn't help but feel disappointed about it though, apart of him truly did want to believe it was real.
Jungkook sighed and turned onto his side, curling up into a ball so he was more comfortable. He figured there was no point joining the others watching the movie now so instead he opted to have an early night, wishing his mind to let go of the information.

"We're using paint today?" Jungkook asked Taehyung who was busy gathering everything they would need for today's class. They were both in art class and the younger was feeling rather excited, the teacher had allowed them use paints for the first time since the term started. He hadn't used paint much and knew he wasn't that good with them but as they say, practice makes perfect.
"Yeah, I'm surprised she's allowing us to use paints so early on," Taehyung answered while turning around and looking at the younger, "what type of paint do you want to use? There's oil paints or acrylic paint." The younger thought for a moment, he already had something in mind to draw and he knew that if he used any of those paints it would ruin the image he was going for.
"Actually, I was wondering if there was any watercolours? Or anything softer than those you mentioned," he asked, suddenly feeling embarrassed by asking. He watched as the older smiled and walked away, leaving him feeling confused as he watched the males retreating back. He thought against following after Taehyung, fearing that he had annoyed him and that's why he had walked away.
Instead Jungkook stood there awkwardly, debating with himself if he should just start without the older male. He sighed and was about to grab some of the oil paints but stopped shortly as Taehyung's voice rang out again, sounding a little out of breath like he had just ran.
"Sorry, I couldn't remember where I left them." he paused and handed the younger a small black case, smiling. "These are my own watercolours, the school doesn't really have good watercolours because the other students tend to mix all the colours and ruin them. You can use these," he finished, shocking Jungkook a little.
"You don't mind if I use them? I wouldn't want to accidentally mess anything up," he said and was about to hand the case back but stopped as Taehyung shook his head. "No, it's fine. I haven't used them in ages, you have them if you want. I don't think I'll ever have another use for them," he explained as he grabbed the oil paints and an apron so his uniform would be protected from the paint.
Jungkook smiled a little as he gently opened the case, his smile widening as he saw how neat and tidy the colours looked. He decided not to grab an apron as he knew watercolours didn't do much damage to clothes and instead grabbed a piece of drawing paper and a couple of paint brushes before retreating back to his desk, already planning out his drawing.

"Banana milk is the best though," Jungkook said, butting into Jimin and Taehyung's argument about which flavour milk was the best causing both males to whip around to face him, wearing shocked expressions. "Banana milk?" Jimin questioned, as if not expecting the younger to join in on their conversation.
"Yeah," Jungkook continued on, "don't get me wrong, both strawberry milk and chocolate milk is good but strawberry milk is way too sweet and chocolate milk is a little bit too bitter for my taste." he paused, thinking of what to say next. "Banana milk is a perfect combination of those two things, it's not too sweet and it isn't too bitter." he finished, his cheeks flushing as his ears were met with the two older males laughter.
"I didn't know you were so knowledgeable about flavoured milk little one. What about vanilla?" Taehyung, who was the first to stop laughing, spoke up curiously. The younger male shrugged, "I like vanilla but sometimes it's too plain. I like vanilla scented things better rather than taste."
It was silent then, the three males too busy eating the sandwiches that Seokjin had made them and had gotten Namjoon to deliver.
In that moment Jungkook realised how comfortable he was getting with the house members and he wasn't sure if that was a good thing or bad thing.
Update? Yes!
This chapter was really just a fluff filler chapter as I figured we're gonna need some before things hit the fan. Next chapter will be a slight time skip, I don't wanna bore y'all with chapters of just Jungkook in classes.
Have you ever been to a concert? I've only been to one, but hopefully I'll be able to attend more in the future.
