JUNGKOOK P.O.V.
Jungkook hated the waiting part, he just wanted his hyungs to be first for once so they could leave and spend at least some time together before the next game was due to start. Apparently, luck wasn't on their side since Jimin still hadn't been called up and at least four other pairs had finished their challenge. Luckily, no one had been injured and everyone was following the rules and no one had managed to score a bullseye although the younger wasn't too surprised by that.
They were blindfolded and couldn't see where they were aiming on the target, he figured that if they weren't blindfolded, everyone would probably aim for the bullseye and maybe, someone would've been lucky enough to hit it.
Doe eyes took in the current match, watching as a tall black haired male grabbed a short looking knife and turned back around to face the target. The male he was up against backed up a little, keeping a good distance away from the sharp point of the blade.
The younger would've done the same honestly, all the knives looked sharp enough to leave a fairly nasty cut behind. He could do without anymore scars since he had plenty already, some self inflicted with how clumsy he was and others were caused by a second party, sometimes an accident but most times not.
He watched in wonder as the black haired male easily got into a stance, a lot different than the ones he had seen so far. This one seemed a lot more light, he supposed it was to help them throw the knives more easily; they weren't exactly light objects, the younger had realised that back when he had been doing the knife combat during gym. The knives were different to those you would find laying around in a kitchen, those ones were admittedly way more light and easy to use.
Granted, they weren't made to be thrown around or to be used in a knife felt . . although he supposed if you really needed a weapon, they still had potential. He remembered the time he had accidentally sliced his finger with a kitchen knife, it was only a little cut but he had bled a fair amount of blood; similar to what had happened to his cheek when Baekhyun had managed to leave a cut behind. It had scarred by now, the mark was fairly light but since he knew exactly where it was, it stood out to him like a sore thumb.
He snapped back into reality as the dark haired male launched the knife, he followed the way it spun through the air before it landed into the target with a loud thwack. He had come to realise that each circle was a property of ten, there were six circles on the board, including the bullseye. He wasn't sure how many points the bullseyes held but he figured it was hundred, just like in archery — he could be wrong though since Seojoon said that the points don't really matter if the bullseye was hit, perhaps there wasn't any points behind the bullseye, just an automatic win. He couldn't help but compare it to archery, it was the only way he could fully understand the current game since a lot of the properties were like archery, it just lacked bows and arrows.
Jungkook's eyes narrowed at the target, trying to figure out where the knife had landed. He soon realised the knife had landed in the second circle which was a solid twenty points; three knives the dark haired male had thrown had landed there, the other two had landed on the first circle which were simply ten points. The male hadn't really done very well but he was blindfolded, the younger figured everyone would struggle just a little bit but any points were better than none, even if they were going to be considered low.
The younger tuned out once the other male stepped up and threw his last knife, he didn't need to look to know that he had won. Three of their knives had already landed on the third circle which had scored him thirty points each and another knife had managed to barely land in the fourth circle which was forty points — so it didn't really matter where this knife had landed unless he had gotten a bullseyes but judging from the quiet surroundings, that hadn't happened.
