JUNGKOOK P.O.V.

"Over there is the music and dance compartment, that's where Yoongi hyung normally spends his time. Hoseok hyung and Jiminie usually attend the dance classes that take place, but they've started doing their own things recently." Taehyung explained as they walked across the school campus, pointing towards a fairly big building. Jungkook hadn't realised that the school had been split into three different buildings, he only thought that was the case with the dorms.

He had come to realise that not many students were outside, which was understandable as classes were currently taking place and not many students had Thursday off, unlike them. The weather was also starting to become a lot cooler, the vibrant colours of the trees had started to turn dull as leaves covered the ground underneath them, a clear sign that autumn was slowly arriving.

"What does Namjoon and Seokjin hyung do?" he found himself asking as he broke away from his thoughts, realising that he really didn't have a clue what his other two hyungs did. "Well," Jimin suddenly spoke, "Namjoon hyung doesn't really have a set thing, but nowadays he's been curious about law so you can normally find him cooped up in the library. But he also helps Yoongi hyung with producing, he won't admit it but he's really passionate about that." the younger nodded, showing that he was listening.

Taehyung was the one who carried on the answer, "Seokjin spends his time in the photography building. He normally models for the other students and very rarely actually takes photos himself." the male paused for a moment, "you can really do what you want as long as you make sure you're actually taking something from it and keeping your grades up. Most people only care about grades as it can help earn points for your house."

Jungkook felt his eyes widen slightly, he had almost nearly forgotten about the points for the house cup. "Hasn't Bangtan won the house cup?" he asked, earning eager nods from the two males he was walking with.

"We've won for the past two years, and hopefully we can win this time around as well. It's one of the many reasons our house is so popular, also the reason why the other houses have problems with us." Jimin answered before his lips pulled downwards in a scowl, "Sehun, the guy who attacked you that time, is apart of the house exo. Before we came, their house always won the house cup." the younger perked up at that, he didn't know much about Sehun and the males house, nor was he really keen on doing so.

"But for the past two years, they've either been stuck in second or third place while we took first." Taehyung spoke as he threw his arm around Jungkook's shoulders, causing the younger to flush slightly. "They're the house that causes us the most problems, simply because we're better and took first place."

Everything suddenly made sense to the younger male, Sehun had attacked him because he was a new member of Bangtan, the house that had apparently robbed exo of first place. Before he could dwell on it any further, Taehyung was speaking again. "Oh, we're here. Come on, little one!"

--

Jungkook looked around, his eyes wide in amazement as he took in his new surroundings. Taehyung had dragged him into a clearing, the trees providing as camouflage as he curiously walked around, afraid to miss anything.

He looked towards his left and noticed a small brown bench, it shined under the little sun the trees allowed in, making it look brand new. Little flowers of all colours and sizes covered the grass, which surprisingly wasn't overgrown. He then looked towards his left and felt his eyes widen even more as they landed on a white stone statue of a woman, who looked to be reaching out to the sky.

"It's pretty, isn't it?" he startled at Jimin's sudden appearance, but nodded nonetheless. "It is," he breathed out, his eyes still trained on the statue of the woman. He had never seen anything like it, he wished he brought his drawing pad with him but he knew that wasn't what he was here for, he would have to come back and draw his surroundings another time.

He sent a small smile towards Jimin before turning around and watching as Taehyung placed the knives neatly on the bench, he wondered how the older male had managed to get the knives, maybe he could ask later.

"Little one, do you remember which knives I chose for you?" Taehyung questioned, not once looking away from the knives he was laying out on the bench. Jungkook's eyebrows furrowed as he thought back to that day, although his memories from most of that day were muddled and blurry he could faintly remember which knives the male had chosen.

"Um, the t shaped one and the fixation bowie." he answered, failing to remember the correct name of the first knife that had been chosen. The older male nodded and smiled, "that's right. We'll start off with the fist knife as it's a bit more difficult than the fixation bowie." the younger male watched quietly as the older male picked up the t shaped knife before gesturing towards Jimin.

"Luckily, Jimin chose the same knife as you and should probably know the right stance by now." Said male nodded along to Taehyung's words, wordlessly getting into a stance that Jungkook had never seen before. He expected the stance to be somewhat similar to the hand to hand combat stances he had learned, but the stance the older male was currently in didn't look familiar to those.

"When using this knife, your opponent will probably expect you to attack first." Taehyung began, "but it's better if you get your opponent to move first, that way you can get a sense of the way they attack and how they use whatever knife they chose." the younger listened and found himself mimicking the stance, his eyes never leaving Jimin's slightly shorter frame as he did so.

Taehyung was quick to move closer and grab Jungkook's right arm, lowering it slightly before moving back. "you'll want to protect your stomach, not your face. When it comes to knife combat, they'll aim for your stomach, namely where the important organs are." the younger male paled slightly at the information, he really hoped he wouldn't have to compete in the knife combat challenge.

He tensed slightly as he felt the older male slip the knife into his hand, his fingers moving on their own accord as they tightened around the cool leather handle, the cold leather chilling his palm slightly. He looked down at the knife, the blade glinting dangerously as it caught onto the little sunlight the trees let through. He felt nervous just looking at it but he was quick to push those feelings away as Taehyung started speaking again.

"Watch Jiminie," and his eyes immediately moved to Jimin, now noticing that the older male had his own knife gripped tightly in his hand. He watched in wonder as the older male shifted slightly before lunging forward, the hand that was holding the knife slicing through the air before the male quickly jumped back into the stance he was in previously. Jungkook couldn't help but notice it was almost like throwing a punch, but instead of actually hitting them with your fist, you were trying to stab them.

"You have to be quick on your feet. Don't linger once you strike, try doing what Jiminie did." the younger nodded, shifting on his feet before lunging forward, his movements identical to Jimin's. "Fast learner," he heard Taehyung mutter as he pulled back into his previous stance, his cheeks flushing as he hoped he hadn't messed anything up.

"Good, a few more times and then we'll move on to the next knife." and that's how the three youngest members spent their morning, learning knife techniques until lunch time came around.
