JUNGKOOK P.O.V.

"That's because you accepted the bond."

Jungkook had been stunned into silence, he couldn't remember accepting any bond, then again he couldn't remember much from the past few days. He didn't feel any different then to what he felt before, but if he was being honest, he had no idea how to feel. He thought that after being given answers everything would make sense and he wouldn't be as confused, but in reality, the answers were just making his confusion rise.

Silence floods into the room, the other members anxiously waiting for the younger to say something, none of them having the guts to break the silence in fear of overwhelming the younger more than they had already done. It was then Jungkook remembered a small detail that had been mentioned in the book, that hadn't yet come into the conversation.

"Wait," the younger blurted, forcing away the urge to shrink back when six pairs of eyes fell onto him, "the book said that the soul bond was only for those unmarked? But, you guys said you were soulmates when we first met?" the male asked, he knew that the question probably sounded stupid and that the answer was probably obvious, but his mind was having a hard time processing the bucket full of information he had just received.

"Well, we are soulmates, technically." Seokjin responded and Jungkook felt his eyebrows furrow, was he missing something? The elder laughed softly and as if sensing the younger males confusion, continued on. "We were all unmarked, little one, much like you were. All of us went through similar events," the younger's cheeks burned red, the answer was practically looking right at him.

There was a time where the younger had convinced himself that he was the only unmarked in Korea, maybe even the world. Growing up had been difficult for him, his parents would tell him stories of soulmates and how amazing it was to have them in your life, how happy they made you. As each of his birthday's passed, his excitement only grew for when it was finally his sixteenth birthday, he had practically dreamt a book full of scenarios up, but none of them would have prepared him for that night.

His excitement is a distant memory, all he can remember was the sinking feeling of disappointment sweeping into his bones as he realised that they would be no soulmate, his dreams were just a product from his parents stories and his imagination. He grew up watching his schoolmates get their marks and meet their soulmates, watching people pass by him radiating nothing but happiness, it was something he wished he had while growing up.

But now, he apparently had six soulmates, six males who's souls were interwined with his.

"Jungkook?" A soft voice rang out, bringing the younger out of his thoughts and back into the real world. He looked up and met the worried eyes of Jimin, making a small humming noise in the back of his throat to show that he was listening and paying attention again. "Are you okay?" the older male asked, noticing how distant the younger looked.

Jungkook smiled slightly and nodded slowly, "I'm fine. A bit overwhelmed," he answered the question truthfully, even though hardly anything was making sense to him, he still felt like he could trust the other members with anything and they wouldn't judge him. "That's okay little one," he moved his attention towards Seokjin as he spoke, a somewhat motherly expression crossing over his features as he did, "if you want some time to yourself, that's okay. Some of us have work due," the elder aimed that last statement at Taehyung and Jimin, both of them shrinking back into the couch.

The younger thought for a moment, "would that be okay?" he questioned, glancing at Namjoon curiously. The leader was quick to nod, his dimpled smile returning as he stood from his place on the couch. "Of course, little one. Take all the time you need."
