JUNGKOOK P.O.V.
Jungkook shifted restlessly in his chair, eyes nervously taking in everything that was happening at table one. Jinyoung had started matching his cards awhile ago now and the older didn't have many left now, which meant it would be his soulmates turn soon enough. During the time that had passed Jimin had left, claiming that he was already bored and would much rather go annoy one of his soulmates, probably Taehyung.
The older had tried convincing him to tag along but the younger had insisted on staying, wanting to watch the game go ahead and so the older had gotten him a chair before leaving, stating that he wanted the younger to be as comfortable as possible and Jungkook honestly wasn't going to complain, knowing his legs would've eventually started hurting.
Minutes seemed to tick by before the invigilator for table one was stepping forward, narrow eyes glancing over every turned card before turning them back to the clipboard, jotting something down before she was turning to face Seokjin who had been idly standing by, waiting for his turn and the younger honestly didn't know how the older had managed to wait so patiently.
"Kim Seokjin, is it?" the older gave a nod to which the woman reciprocated, delicately gathering the cards from the table. "I'll set the cards again, you can have a short look before I'll be flipping them again. It'll be up to you to remember their locations to match them," she informed, the younger knew the cards probably wouldn't be set the same as the previous round, figuring it was a way to stop any cheating incase his hyung had managed to memorise those card locations.
Jungkook watched as the woman finished and stepped back, allowing his oldest hyung to take her place at the table. "I'll give you twenty seconds to have a look before I need to flip them again," he watched as his hyung nodded, the older males eyes flickering around the table, lingering more in some places. The seconds seemingly flew past because before the younger even realised it, the woman was stepping forward again and turning over the cards in a quick fashion, the plain backs of the cards standing out.
"Feel free to start whenever, there's no rush." the younger leaned forward in his chair, eyes trained on the table as his soulmates hands hovered over the cards, as if the male was debating on which card he wanted to flip first. He couldn't help but suck in a breath as the older males hand finally dropped down onto a card, flipping it over with ease and revealing the four of spades, a simple card and even though the younger had seen how the cards were laid out, he couldn't for the life of him remember where the matching card was.
He watched in interest as his hyungs hand immediately shot to the right, not hesitating as he flipped over the matching card, indicating one point to however many Jinyoung managed to get.
He was snapped out of his focus as shouts of his name reached his ears, his back straightening as he strained his neck as he tried to figure out who was shouting his name so loudly. "Jungkookie!" he startled slightly as someone collided with the back of the chair, rocking his body forward slightly as arms looped there way around his neck gently, a chin coming down and resting against his shoulder.
He turned his head slightly, his eyes falling onto a grinning Yugyeom which honesty didn't surprise him; they had been in this exact position countless times causing the younger to become familiar with it. "Look at you! You look hot," his friend commented bluntly, his cheeks flushing as he rolled his eyes, no real annoyance behind the action.
"It's true! I could hardly recognise you, I had to squint and my hyung kept asking me if I had something in my eye, so embarrassing." the male whined, Jungkook letting out a tiny giggle at the small story. "Well maybe if you actually came over and checked, you wouldn't have embarrassed yourself."
