JUNGKOOK P.O.V.

It had been a couple of hours since the incident and the pain in Jungkook's head had finally dulled enough to where he couldn't feel it, he had wanted to take a nap but was stopped by Yoongi, who had stated that there was a possibility that he had a concussion and so he stayed awake instead.

Taehyung and Jimin had arrived back an hour ago but were ushered off by an angry Yoongi and was later accompanied by Namjoon once he had learnt what had happened. Instead of sleeping Jungkook had decided to help Seokjin cook dinner and was fairly surprised by how great of a cook the male was, he had never been the best of cooks and so he was grateful when the older explained and sometimes demonstrated what to do.

Hoseok was the last one to arrive, immediately walking into the kitchen. "Hey little one. I heard what happened, you doing okay?" he asked after he had greeted Seokjin with a kiss to the cheek, which Jungkook pretended not to see. Signs of affection had always made him shy, even if the affection wasn't aimed at him. He nodded and gently placed the cut carrots into the stew that Seokjin had decided on making, "I'm all good. I had a slight headache earlier but hyung gave me some painkillers and they seemed to do the trick."

Hoseok hummed, clearly happy with the answer. "Where's Taehyung and Jimin?" he asked, this time directed at the other male, who was stirring the stew gently. "With Yoongi and Namjoon, they left Jungkook-ah alone when they were told not to."

Hoseok seemed to understand as he didn't say anything else, quickly busying himself with grabbing a couple of white plates and cutlery, no doubt going to set the table.

Jungkook awkwardly sits in-between Taehyung and Jimin, both of them sporting countless purplish marks along their necks and he quickly knows what they are, his cheeks flushing a pale pink as he realised what must have happened while they were with Yoongi and Namjoon.

"We're so sorry!" Both of them say at the same time, each of them thinking that Jungkook was mad at them as he refused eye contact with them. Truth was he was trying to avoid looking at the marks that littered their necks, he couldn't help but think that they looked pretty against their skin and he found himself wondering what he would look like with those marks.

As soon as that thought appeared he brushed it away, feeling mortified for even thinking about that. He sighed quietly as they apologised again, "guys its okay. Nothing happened, I'm fine." he muttered, spooning some of the warm stew into his mouth and humming as all the different flavours exploded into his mouth. He was really starting to like Seokjin's cooking and he had only had it twice, but it reminded him of home.

"Hyung said you hurt your head, does it still hurt?" Jimin questioned quietly, his hand brushing against Jungkook's nape almost like he was trying to find the injury. Jungkook couldn't help but shiver at the sudden touch, a warmness sweeping over him. "I had some painkillers earlier and that took the pain off, it doesn't hurt much now." he was getting bored of repeating himself but he knew they didn't mean no harm, it was nice to have someone other than Yoobin show their concern for him.

He would admit that he was still a bit shaken from the sudden attack from another student but it wasn't like Jungkook didn't expect it, he was waiting for something like that to happen. Sure, he didn't expect it to happen so soon but his worries had been proven correct. He just hoped he wouldn't have to see Sehun again because there was no telling that someone would come to his rescue if it happened a second time.

"Shut up you two and eat your stew before it gets cold," Seokjin chided, sounding like a concerned mother trying to get her children to eat their greens. The thought alone had Jungkook snorting quietly, gaining the other members attention as they all turned their gazes towards him, bearing small amused smiles. He felt his cheeks heat up as he spooned more of the stew in his mouth, refusing to meet anyone's gaze as he preoccupied himself with the stew in front of him.

Jungkook stood in the kitchen, a plate clutched in one hand while the other held a white cloth, which he was using to dry the pots Taehyung handed him. The others were all seated in the living room watching a movie he couldn't remember the name of, he had chosen against joining them and instead stayed back and helped Taehyung do the washing up, ignoring the males protests.

"You didn't have to help me, I would've been alright," Taehyung murmured, handing Jungkook another plate once he realised the younger had finished drying the previous one. The younger shrugged as he started drying the plate like he had done so many times, smiling a little as he watched the older male who's arms were covered in bubbles, having put too much soap in the water.

"I wanted to," was all Jungkook replied with, gently putting the now dry plate away and grabbing the last one which had been placed on the side for him. Taehyung chuckled and stayed quiet, placing the wash cloth near the sink as he pulled the plug, draining the bubbly water away. While doing that Jungkook placed the final plate away, leaving the damp towel near the wash cloth the older had used, unsure of where it actually went.

As he was about to roll his sleeves down his eyes caught sight of the bruise that was present on his wrist, a startling shade of black. His lips tugged down into a frown, he knew he bruised easily but he didn't think the fall was hard enough to create such a bruise. Curiously he prodded at it, expecting to feel pain as a response but instead he didn't feel anything, just the pressure of his fingers.

He missed the way Taehyung stared at his own wrist in confusion, more specifically at his soulmate mark.

Jungkook continued to prod at the dark bruise but it was painless each time which he couldn't help but find odd, normally his bruises were painful and never this dark. He jumped out of his daze as he felt a hand grip his other wrist, causing him to look up and meet Taehyung's worried eyes. "Are you okay little one?" the older male asked, slowly letting go of the younger's wrist.

"Oh yeah, just thinking. Come on, I think its time we joined the others." the younger replied, quickly pulling his sleeves down as he grabbed the other males hand, dragging him out of the kitchen and into the main room where the others were all piled onto the couch.

"You're just in time. I managed to convince the hyungs to watch pirates of the caribbean," Jimin said, the first to notice the pair. Taehyung grinned and was quick to claim the empty spot besides Jimin, curling up at the older males side.

Jungkook couldn't help but smile as he walked across the room, he didn't want to disturb the soulmates and so he decided that sitting on the floor would be his best bet. But before he could reach where he wanted to be a hand curled around his wrist, tugging him down gently. He landed in a heap, almost landing on the lap of who had grabbed him so suddenly. Looking up he was greeted by a heart shaped smile and he realised it was Hoseok who had grabbed him.

Jungkook sent the older male a shy smile of his own before focusing his attention on the television, where the opening credits of the movie was starting to play.
