JUNGKOOK P.O.V.

As soon as Jungkook stepped through the threshold he was met with a range of different dull green and dark grey lights, completely taking him by surprise as he thought the inside would have the same vibe as the outside did, although it seemed he was wrong. Over the sounds of people chattering and the sound of cutlery on plates, he could hear the slight tune of some sort of melody playing instead of a popular pop song. He couldn't help but be reminded of the slytherin common room, as his mind had conjured up something equivalent to this while reading the book series. Even though he wasn't keen on reading such a long and drawn out couple of books, he had struggled to stop reading and had actually finished the entire book set a couple of months in.

"Seokjin, my baby!" a soft voice snapped him away from his thoughts and he watched in curiosity as a middle aged woman came barrelling towards the elder male, her arms quick to engulf the male in a tight hug once she was close enough. The younger quickly realised that this was Seokjin's mother, immediately noticing the similarities between the two.

The woman pulled away, giving Jungkook a more clear view. Her brown curls fell around her face, framing it perfectly and the younger could just about see laugh and smile lines around her mouth and eyes, indicating that she was just as cheery as her son was. Her attention quickly left her son as her eyes fell onto Jimin, who beamed in response. "Oh, look at you! Happy birthday dear," she gushed, reaching out and patting the males cheek.

"Now then, is anyone going to introduce me to the little one in the back?" the elders mother suddenly asked, causing the younger's cheek to flush slightly in embarrassment since he knew she was referring to him, having being the only new face in the group. "Eomma, this is Jeon Jungkook. I briefly told you about him, he's our last half," Seokjin started, before pausing. "Little one, this is Kim Sung-hee, my mother."

The younger took a deep breath before slowly allowing himself to walk forward before quickly diving into a bow, "it's nice to meet you, Sung-hee nim." he greeted and felt himself flush as a light chuckle filled the air. "Oh, none of that dear. You can call me mom or Sung-hee, whichever you're comfortable with. Anything else just makes me feel old," the younger smiled shyly before nodding, starting to feel at ease.

"Your fathers working in the kitchen tonight, so you may not see him much. Two of our chefs are out of town and the kitchen was running too slow, it would've been fine but we've got a full house tonight." she paused, gesturing for the group of males to follow her as she started walking. "Which is why the outside tables are starting to fill up, you're lucky that you had the idea of setting up a reservation otherwise you wouldn't have gotten a table." she finished, stepping in front of a table that was already set up.

"I'll send a waiter your way in a little while," she beamed out another smile before turning around and walking away, leaving the males alone. "I call dibs on little one!" Jimin yelled out while grabbing the younger's arm and quickly dragging him into the booth, leaving only one more spot open which was soon took by Taehyung.

Jungkook watched as the four other males took the other side of the booth, each of them fitting in smoothly. "I didn't think it would look like this," Taehyung commented, his eyes flickering around curiously, the dark green lights highlighting his prominent features, making them stand out more. "I was expecting something more dark and homely, but this is nice too." he finished, different chuckles ringing through the air at his words.

"Hi! I'm Myung-ki and I'll be your server for today," a bored sounding voice interrupted their conversation, carelessly placing some menus down on the table and the younger failed to hold back his flinch, his chest tightening up as he recognised the voice that had rung out, it would be hard not to recognise it as he grew up hearing it.
