JUNGKOOK P.O.V.

While walking with Yugyeom, Jungkook had learnt quite a bit. He had learnt that his friend had been chosen for GOT7's house and he couldn't help but find the name a little weird but he had also come to find that many houses had weird and questionable names so he didn't dwell on it too much, there were originally six members of the house but seven now since Yugyeom had joined.

The house had stopped choosing new members for the past couple of years and none of the boys knew the reason why, but Jungkook figured that whatever it was wasn't as important now since they had chosen a new member this year. It wasn't as bad as the Bangtan house though who never seemed interested in new members, until this year it seemed.

"They're all really nice, very welcoming. You should meet them all sometime, I think they'd like you. They haven't really been talking about you like everyone else has, with you being the new Bangtan member and all." Yugyeom ranted, pulling at his light blue tie.

Jungkook quite liked the males uniform, the blazer and tie were a nice shade of light blue while everything else was a light shade of grey, including the shirt. He had never thought that those colours would go well together but the uniform definitely proved him wrong, but he much preferred his own uniform.

"I'm surprised they haven't. All I've heard today is people whispering about me, not very well but still. I guess Bangtan really don't choose new members often," he murmered, his mind drifting back to Taehyung's words from this morning. He had been the last member they had picked and it sounded like it was just as hard for him, granted Taehyung had managed to find his soulmates because of that so Jungkook guessed that took some of the stress off.

But that wasn't the case for Jungkook, he was unmarked and that made it much harder for him to fit in. He didn't really have anyone to ease his worries like Taehyung had and he knew he would have try and keep the fact that he didn't have a soulmate on the down low if he ever wanted to be accepted. He could do that, he had been doing that ever since he turned sixteen.

What could go wrong?

"Hurry up Kookie! We're going to be late if slow down anymore." Yugyeom cried out, gripping his hand and giving him a tug, causing Jungkook to let out a little giggle as he let himself be dragged down the hall.

The two males quietly slipped into the gym that was halfway full but it seemed that more people were due to arrive as the class had not started yet. Jungkook looked around for Taehyung and Jimin and saw them huddled up in the back corner, both of them already looking back at him having seen him enter. It seemed Yugyeom had also found someone he knew as he was waving energetically before turning to face Jungkook, "hopefully there's some partner activity so we can work together." was all he said before he quickly walked away towards the person who he was waving at, who was also wearing the same light blue uniform.

Jungkook smiled and shook his head, walking towards his two house members who were watching him with expectant expressions. "I told you I wouldn't get lost," he said once he reached them, watching as Taehyung playfully rolled his eyes.

Before any of them could answer the hall went quiet as a door slammed open, startling him as he spun around to see what was happening. His eyes quickly fell onto the man that was walking into the gym hall, the males hands clasped behind his back as he came to a stop, his eyes flickering to the students that littered the hall.

"Good afternoon class. I'm Minho, your gym teacher. In the class you will learn everything about this years challenges, as well as learning the skills you will need to compete in each challenge. It is my job to make sure none of you students get seriously hurt while competing, so I hope you all will pay attention in my class." the now introduced gym teacher said, causing Jungkook's eyebrows to furrow slightly at the speech.

He was glad he would get to learn about the challenges, but why would someone get seriously hurt? "Today I will be going through the challenges that the houses will compete in. For each challenge competed in and won your house will gain points, if your house loses then you may not receive points. If there is any foul play detected your house will lose points, keep that in mind. Houses can also gain points outside of challenges, do well in your classes."

"Now this year we have decided to add three new challenges, as many of you have complained about certain challenges being boring. That being said the first new challenge will be archery," Jungkook felt his eyes widen at that, he had received archery lessons when he was younger but stopped attending after his sixteenth birthday, too depressed to carry on doing something he was interested in. He hoped he would be able to compete in that challenge, hopefully he still remembered everything.

"The second new challenge will be knife combat. You will learn everything you need to know, including the different knives that will be available and the techniques. Of course, I know some students in this hall already know about knife combat." Taehyung shivered slightly in anticipation, he was one of the few students who had experience with knife combat and was happy to know he would be able to put his skills to use soon.

"The third and final new challenge is something called rally the flag. Now this challenge will be the final challenges and will also determine the winner for the house cup," Minho paused for a moment, "in this challenge everything is allowed. Basic combat, knife combat and anything else we deem appropriate."

Jungkook felt his heart rate pick slightly, repeating the teachers words again in his head. The challenges were not what he was expecting and he wasn't sure how to feel, he would have to learn how to fight and wield weapons. Now, he wasn't the violent type and had only been in a couple of fist fights back when he was still in school. He knew the basics but looking around the hall he knew he wouldn't be able to beat anyone in a fight, not without getting hurt along the way.

He caught Yugyeom's gaze, who now looked a lot paler than before. He didn't have to ask to know that his friend was thinking the same thing as him.

Jungkook nervously glanced at his two house members, noticing the excited looks they both sported. He sighed quietly and shook his head, of course they wouldn't react the same way as him, they had been here a lot longer and had probably competed in challenges like this before.

Maybe this school wasn't what he thought it was, after all.

Update? Yes!

Yeah, definitely not a normal school. Although I think it's time for Jungkook to start bonding with some of the older members.

How did you find BTS?

No one introduced me, I actually stumbled upon them when I decided to watch their dance practice of 'Just One Day', which was one of the first songs I heard of theirs, after that I was just curious about their music in general and started listening to them a lot more. Taehyung was also my first bias because of this video.
