JUNGKOOK P.O.V.
"No, the bond is there." a muffled voice broke through the haze Jungkook was currently experiencing, his body thrumming with an odd dulling sensation, making him feel like he was floating and he eagerly welcomed it, remembering the pain he had experienced however long ago.
"Yeah, you can feel it." a different voice replied this time and he was certain he had heard both voices before, however his mind seemed to be struggling to provide him with the right information. He let out a slight groan as the noise in the room was starting to irritate his head, finally recognising the sharp pain behind his eyes and the slight stinging which was coming from his hands.
The voices quickly halted in their conversation and the younger sighed in relief, the pain ebbing off some as the room was basked in silence again, although it didn't last much longer as the mattress dipped down and he couldn't help from flinching slightly, choosing to ignore the intake of breath that echoed around the room afterwards.
"Jungkook, baby, are you awake?" a hesitant voice spoke up and Jungkook scrunched his nose up, the volume of the voice made his head hurt again seeing as the person was practically seated next to him on the bed. He slowly managed to nod his head, ignoring the pain. "Yeah," he croaked out, voice cracking at the end which sent him into a coughing frenzy.
"Drink this little one," the same person spoke before the younger felt the familiar feeling of a straw being pressed against his mouth which he gratefully took, his body relaxing further as he quickly gulped down the water, he hadn't realised how dry his throat was until now. "Slow down baby, it isn't going anywhere." he complied to the request, feeling a hand brush through his hair.
Soon the glass was empty and he let go of the straw, pulling back completely so whoever it was next to him knew he was finished. "Little one, can you open your eyes for us? The lights are dimmed enough not to cause any strain," Jungkook had completely forgotten that he needed to open his eyes, too scared to cause his head even more pain.
He sighed quietly and slowly peaked his eyes open, expecting some kind of light to irritate them but thankfully that wasn't the case. His lights had indeed been dimmed down to the point where there wasn't much light but it wasn't to the point where he couldn't see anything at all, "there he is. How're you feeling, little one?" Jungkook turned his head and met the eyes of Hoseok, who was smiling encouragingly.
The younger worried his bottom lip in between his teeth, trying to figure out how he actually felt. He wasn't sure what had actually happened but he definitely knew that parts of his body were stinging in pain, causing discomfort whenever he tried moving. "Sore," he finally answered, attempting to sit up but failed as his arms gave out under him.
Hoseok hummed and sat up, helping the younger sit comfortably against the headboard. "I'll let the others know you're awake, maybe then we can get you bathed and into something comfortable." the older supplied before making his way out of the room, the door already being held open by something Jungkook couldn't see.
He sighed and leaned his head back, lazily scanning the different patterns that lined the ceiling. Something felt off about himself but he couldn't understand what and it was starting to bug him, he knew he would have to start asking the questions that he desperately needed answers too once Hoseok came back.
--
It wasn't long before Hoseok came back into the bedroom, closely followed by the rest of the house members, some of them looking like they hadn't slept in days and it was then that Jungkook suddenly got hit with a wave of anxiety, although it was quick to leave like it had appeared.
