JUNGKOOK P.O.V.

Kissing Hoseok was different as to when he had shared a kiss with Taehyung; Hoseok was hesitant, almost shy as they shared their kiss whereas Taehyung had been more confident, maybe because he had been the one to initiate it. Jungkook was aware that he had been the one to initiate the kiss this time, whatever confidence had hit him was welcomed with opened arms, he didn't want to be shy all the time and he certainly wanted to have his fair share of instigating affection.

He had somehow ended up on the older male's lap and he found that he didn't really care, the position was oddly comfortable and having the male's hands resting on his waist felt right; like they were meant to be there.

The two of them eventually pulled away and Jungkook couldn't help the small noise that managed to escape past his kiss swollen lips, he didn't exactly want the kiss to end so soon but he knew the two of them needed oxygen, the slight burn in his throat was telling enough and unfortunately, they weren't immortal and oxygen was very much a need.

It was silent for a moment before Hoseok's lips parted, a sort of dazed look crossing his face. "That was nice," he muttered and the younger male nodded in agreement, giving a small little giggle at the male's words. He wasn't wrong, the kiss had been nice; wonderful even.

"It was," he verbally gave a response, head landing on his hyungs shoulder as they both simply basked in the silence which would be disrupted every so often by the sound of quiet snores and shuffling, the younger figured the other three members had really fallen asleep.

He couldn't necessarily blame them, it had been a rather busy day and he would probably be out like a light once he had gotten something to eat . . he wouldn't pass down an opportunity for food, even if he was tired.

They stayed like that, the younger battling away the thoughts of sleeping while trying to ignore the way his eyelids would droop, his brain begging for him to rest them for a little while but he knew that if he gave in, he would fall asleep and he didn't want that just yet.

The cycle continued until the entrance to the tent swung open and he immediately perked up, voices met his ears and he smiled because he recognised them; Seokjin and Namjoon were back from wherever they had been collecting food and hopefully having some kind of update about the games tomorrow.

It wasn't long before the two older male's were coming into view, both of them wearing bright smiles once their eyes fell onto the couch and in turn, onto the younger and Hoseok. "Well, this is certainly an adorable sight but," Seokjin paused, hands landing on his hips as his eyes narrowed, focused on something particular.

The younger gulped and followed the older male's line of sight, doe eyes falling onto bandaged hands and he quickly shared a look with Hoseok, the male looking equally as nervous. "But can someone please enlighten me as to why your hands are bandaged because I know for a fact you aren't injured because I know you would've told me if that just so happened to be the case here."

It was silent after that, the younger opening and closing his mouth as he tried to come up with an explanation to answer the older male's question. The older had somewhat answered his own question but he didn't want to voice that out loud, the oldest of his soulmates could be quite intimidating when push came to shove, especially when the topic at hand was about one of them being potentially injured.

"We didn't want to worry you," he finally mustered up enough courage to speak, smiling sheepishly. "and he wouldn't let me tell anyone else because of that. He probably wouldn't have even told me if I hadn't been watching the other people, all of which had similar injuries so I figured hyung would end up with something like that too." and here he went, ranting about what had happened simply because he couldn't stop once he had started. "I waited until everyone was gone before I helped patched his hands up. I know I probably should've told someone but we handled it just fine." he finished, waiting with baited breath as he waited for someone else to say something.
