JUNGKOOK P.O.V.
Jungkook spent the rest of his break at Peggy's café or at random spots and places that Yoobin had suggested, both of them wanting to make the most out of the fairly short break he was given. He had also taken the time to explain more about the sudden appearance of his soulmate mark and of course the six soulmates that had accompanied it. It had been a nice and welcomed break from what was soon to take place at the school but unfortunately he only had a few more hours left before he would need to gather his things again and leave. It was safe to say that he was rightfully nervous, unsure of how the events would ravel out.
He sighed and slid out of his bed, pulling his comforter back over his bed neatly before slowly and quietly making his way out of his room, unsure whether or not his roommate was awake. He was still dressed in his pajamas which consisted of an oversized hoodie and small booty shorts which the hoodie covered, making it seem like he wasn't wearing any pants at all. He was fairly certain the hoodie didn't belong to either him or Yoobin, having never seen it before and he figured it must belong to one of his hyungs, it wasn't uncommon for laundry to get mixed up.
The hoodie was blue but the sleeves and the hood however were white, both sleeves having some kind of writing on them that he hadn't yet took the time to read. He let out a quiet hum and tiptoed his way down the small hallway, nearly jumping out of his skin as he caught sight of his younger friend moving around the kitchen, not expecting it. "Oh, hyung!" Yoobin said as he turned around and placed two bowls on top of the table and it was then he noticed the other plates and bowls decorating the table, his roommate seeming to have gone all out for breakfast today.
"I was just about to come and wake you, breakfast is done." the younger proudly announced, taking a seat at the table. Jungkook smiled and shook his head, making his way towards his place at the table and sitting down, immediately eyeing the bowls and plates.
"You made ramen?" he asked in slight disbelief, Yoobin having always lectured him when he would eat instant ramen for his first meal of the day. The younger sheepishly smiled and pushed a bowl towards him, "well todays your last day so I figured we could stay at home and eat junk food, maybe watch cringy movies like old times sake."
He listened to his roommate talk all while reaching out and grabbing a familiar pair of chopsticks, the ones he would usually use every meal time. "Twilight?" he asked curiously as he started stirring his noodles around the bowl, already knowing the answer. "Twilight," the younger answered and grabbed his own bowl and chopsticks, immediately filling his mouth with the noodles.
Silence fluttered around them gently as they ate breakfast, none of them needing to say anything as the silence spoke for them. Jungkook took this has his chance to finally get a good look of the plates of food that Yoobin had prepared, wondering what else his bestfriend had made. He wasn't surprised to see a plate filled with fresh kimchi since it was rather cheap and they could manage to afford buying more each time they ran out; it had become a regular food at their table during meal times.
His eyes widened slightly as he caught sight of the egg vegetable roll as well as the cooked tofu, both of which was something they rarely ate; it had proved to be rather expensive to eat it everyday. He moved his attention to the large bowl of chopped fruit, noting that there were some more expensive types of fruit strewn in.
It wouldn't surprise him if his roommate had used some of his savings to buy some of the food present, he knew his friend would probably want to make the last day of his break enjoyable for the both them.
"What time are you leaving?" Yoobin questioned, finally slicing through the silence with a question he had been meaning to ask. Jungkook hummed around his mouthful of noodles, chewing carefully before answering his friends question.
