JUNGKOOK P.O.V.

Over the weeks that Jungkook has been here the mark on his wrist hadn't faded, it appeared to be growing more darker and much more noticeable which is why he was starting to believe it wasn't a bruise like he originally thought it was. It didn't make much sense to him, if it wasn't a bruise then what was it?

He sighed and looked down at his wrist where the mark was and he couldn't help but feel like it was taunting him, it felt like each day the mark appeared darker and clearer than it was the previous day. He had gone back to library to try and see if there was a book that could maybe tell him what the mark was but nothing proved helpful, he had even turned to the internet but still couldn't find anything.

He had thought about asking one of the other house members but quickly thought against it as he didn't want to bother them, after all it wasn't a big deal. The mark wasn't causing him any pain or discomfort it just confused him as he didn't know what it meant, or what it was for that matter.

Brushing his thoughts to the back of his mind he grabbed his blazer and shrugged it on, glad that the sleeves fully covered his wrists so he wouldn't have to look at the mark any longer. He then walked out of his bedroom, hoping he wasn't the last person in the kitchen.

Jungkook quietly munched on a piece of bacon watching on in amusement as Seokjin bickered with Hoseok about how to make the perfect pancake. "It's better if the fruit is in the pancake," Hoseok said, his eyes narrowed as he rather aggressively buttered a slice of toast. Seokjin made a noise in the back of his throat, looking slightly offended as he glared at the other male. "Are you insane? The fruit goes mushy inside the pancakes, it's better if they're on the side or you add them after."

Before either of them could say another thing Namjoon made his presence known, "are you seriously arguing about pancakes again?" he asked as he took the seat across from Jungkook, sending the younger a small smile while grabbing some toast. The younger couldn't help but feel a little surprised at hearing that the two males have had this argument before but anything was possible it seemed.

"Yeah, I thought you two finally agreed that both choices were good." Jimin stated while pouring himself another glass of water as Yoongi had stole his first glass while he wasn't paying attention. Hoseok shrugged and bit into his toast, "that was before he had to open his big mouth and disrespect my pancakes."

Seokjin gasped, obviously offended by the others comment. He watched as they both fell into another bickering match, the toast that Hoseok was starting to eat was now abandoned on the table as he put his full attention on his house member.

Jungkook grabbed another slice of bacon but nearly dropped it back on the plate as his name was called out, "Jungkook-ah?" he looked up and met Namjoon's eyes, smiling sheepishly as he realised that his leader had been trying to get his attention. "Sorry, did you say something?" he really should stop zoning out when people are trying to talk to him.

Namjoon chuckled quietly and nodded, "I was just asking how your gym classes are going. I heard that your class is already in front, it's normally the older classes that are in front." Even though he wasn't fond of his gym classes he would have to admit that he had improved on his fighting skills much to his surprise, "yeah, we finished the basics for hand to hand combat a couple of days ago. I think the teacher mentioned something about having a little tournament so we can put everything we've learnt to use."

That was something he was dreading as he didn't want to fight anyone in his gym class, it didn't matter if he had improved because it didn't change the fact that half of his class mates could probably beat him without even trying.
