Almost a week had gone by, and Jungkook and Yoongi hadn't really talked since they'd kissed.

When they'd finally separated Jungkook seemed to have remembered that he wasn't supposed to be Yoongi's friend let alone kiss him.

He ended up apologizing and telling Yoongi that he was too lost in the feeling, Yoongi had just started at him and then Jungkook left.

Yoongi slightly felt like it was weird because, in the past Jungkook would have asked him where he was going or he would have guessed that Yoongi wasn't home because of his mum, yet he just left.

Didn't look back once and didn't even call Yoongi to ask him if he wanted to come, and after thinking about it Yoongi assumed it was most probably because they weren't friends anymore.

10.4.17

Like every other day Jungkook had begun making his way to the cafeteria, a little too into his phone, he didn't notice the person walking towards him and ended up walking into them.

Her tray falling out of her hand and crashing onto the floor along with the girl, caught lots of attention "oh fuck, I'm so sorry I should have been looking where I was going" Jungkook apologized quickly helping the girl up.

"It's alright I also wasn't looking" She said taking his hand and allowing Jungkook to pull her up, once was on her feet Jungkook reached down and picked up her tray as a lady walked over to clean up the mess.

"I'll get you another one" Jungkook told, he felt so bad "ah it's really ok" She said but Jungkook insisted and soon enough he was getting her food.

"You really don't have to" She tried once more "I feel bad though" Jungkook rubbed the back of his neck as the girl's food was served.

When it was done Jungkook began walking off to sit at his usual table only for the girl to follow him.

"I... I don't really have any friends, can I sit with you?" she asked "sure but just to be clear I don't do friends" Jungkook said "oh..still it's nicer to sit with someone" she said sitting down.

"If you want friends I recommend those 4...well 3 of them to be your friend they're nice people" Jungkook told looking over at the table he was pointing to, Yoongi and Jimin who were looking straight back at him quickly turning away as the girl turned to look.

"Oh ok, you know them?" She asked "something like that" Jungkook shrugged "oh my name is Jihyo by the way, today's my second day" She told.

"Nice" Jungkook mumbled pulling out his phone just as it vibrated a notification popping up on his screen "oh yeah" He smiled, He'd just got paid and it felt great to see it even though 70 per cent of it would go to the rent.

The girl glanced up at her food to look at him, then she looked back down and continued eating.

"You're not eating?" she asked about a minute later " Nah, I had a big breakfast" Jungkook said his smile growing it was true he'd woken up early and decided to make breakfast.

After that it was silent.

"Are you just gonna sit here all the time?" Jungkook asked, since he'd met Jihyo she'd been sitting next to him, she'd sometimes make small talk or just ask a few questions other times she didn't say much.

"Are you uncomfortable?" She asked "no... But it's a bit weird, I'm not used to having people sitting with me" Jungkook said, it wasn't true but it somehow felt slightly true.

"I know you said you don't need friends but can we just be like lunch buddies?" Jihyo asked and Jungkook shook his head "sorry but I like being alone" He said.

"I already said if you want friends, go to those guys, three of them are nice but stay away from Taehyung" He added "I'm a bit shy" Jihyo admitted a small blush on her cheeks "well don't be they're very nice" Jungkook said.

"So why aren't you with them?" She questioned "don't do friends" Jungkook reminded "ah" Jihyo nodded going back to eating her food "why not though? You're nice and you're good at socializing...well you talk to me just fine" She said

"Don't like it, it feels like a waste of time and I don't see the point" He sighed "ok" Jihyo didn't say anything after that.

The weekend was over and Jungkook was in school, except this time things were a little different, on his way to lunch, Jungkook had noticed a few girls troubling Jihyo, and despite them not being friends he still thought it would be better to step in.

So he did, telling the other girls to fuck off and pick on someone who'll actually fight them, before he left with Jihyo.

They headed to the cafeteria, got their food and sat down, not even a minute after they started eating, they were interrupted.

The same girls from before stalking over with 2 boys and Jungkook couldn't help but roll his eyes "what now?" He asked "I heard you stopped my girl from teaching someone else their lesson" One of the boys spoke.

And Jungkook had seen something similar happen with Yoongi once too often to not know what was going on.

"Maybe your girl should make sure my friends aren't on her teaching list" He said not even sparing the boys a glance "maybe you should make sure your friends aren't stupid enough to get on her list" The boy said back.

At that Jungkook stood up "what? Is walking in the corridor something stupid?" He asked "Don't try making me look dumb she wasn't just walking in the corridor she gave me a dirty look" The main girl from before spoke.

"I just looked at her Jungkook" Jihyo defended "shut up no-one asked you" Another girl spoke, and Jungkook started laughing "fuck it's so funny how you came here without checking your facts you really are just bored aren't you" Jungkook laughed.

"What do you want? An apology? Go fuck yoursel-" And god was he not expecting the slap he felt on his cheek, yet even that wasn't enough to stop him.

"Never thought I'd see the day a boy slapped me" He smiled looking the boy straight in the eye "aren't you supposed to use your fist?" He asked and fuck he didn't know why he was still talking.

He couldn't even back himself up, and would probably get beat the shit out of and wouldn't be able to go to work but he didn't give a fuck.

Right now the only thing he cared about was seeing the guy before him getting mad, over words.

Even still he didn't get punched "I'm not trying to get in trouble so how about we settle this after school?" The guy said "sorry I got work" Jungkook said "otherwise I'd smash your brains in".

"Jungkook that's enough" Jihyo tried to interfere when she noticed veins on the side of the guy's neck nearly popping.

"This guy is really just so much talk" The boy rolled his eyes "that's right now fuck off, shitfac-" Then he felt another slap "that's a bit girly no?" Why the fuck was he still talking? He wish he could control the words coming out but they slipped before he could.

And before he felt the next slap, the guy was being roughly pulled back "touch him again and you'll regret having the ability to touch".
