Feeling anxious Seokjin bit his lip as he made his way to the table with Jungkook, Jimin, Hoshi and Taehyung. He couldn't stop thinking about how he fell asleep last night.

He doesn't stop biting his lip until he feels someone nudged him and whisper "don't forget what I said" he knows it's Jungkook.

Seokjin furrowed his eyebrows "just why did you say that anyway?" He asked a little too loud, he grabbed onto Jungkook's wrist just as they reached the table.

"Say what?" Jimin asked and Seokjin quickly dropped Jungkook's wrist "nothing" he said Jungkook walked away just as Seokjin sat down, he took a deep breath before looking at Namjoon to his surprise Namjoon wasn't even looking at him, but instead at his phone.

Still Seokjin apologized for the night before "Namjoon-ah, I'm so sorry about yesterday" he said catching Namjoon's attention "it's ok, I met your mum though, she was really nice" Namjoon told "my mum?" Seokjin questioned.

"Yeah we spoke for a bit" Namjoon nodded "what about?" Seokjin didn't realize he's coming off as slightly nosy.

"Not much really, she asked where you were and then asked who I was and then she thanked me for being your friend when I told her I was one of your friends" Namjoon answered

"What did you say?" Seokjin asked "I thanked her for raising you, then she said to thank you because you pretty much raised yourself" Namjoon furrowed his eyebrows as he finished his sentence.

"Do you think it's weird that after meeting you guys and learning and noticing how different my mum treat me then how other mums treat their kids? That I see her different from how I used to?" Seokjin asked.

"Like I really wanna see her the same but I'm starting to feel like maybe...she doesn't lo-" Namjoon cut Seokjin off he could hear the older growing quiet and could tell what he was about to say.

"No Seokjin, just no, yeah maybe you're seeing her different because society has normalized parenting to be like the way that you're seeing it now, and I'm not sure why your mum does what she does but one thing I know is that she loves you" Namjoon said.

"How Namjoon? From just meeting her once?" Seokjin asked "yes, because that once time I met her, she thanked me for being your friend and she told me how happy it made her you had friends, if she didn't love you she wouldn't care if you had friends and she definitely wouldn't thank me" Namjoon assured.

Seokjin smiled slightly, feeling that Namjoon was right, maybe he'd just been thinking too much about how others were raised.

"So after work, we'll do something together ok?" Seokjin said as he walked beside Namjoon "why?" Namjoon asked.

They usually didn't hang out when Seokjin had work "because I wanna make it up to you, for falling asleep and for cancelling on you so much" Seokjin explained.

"But I already told you it's fine" he said just as they reached his car "come on Namjoon we both know it's not" Seokjin sighed "it is, and anyways most friends don't make it up to each other just for falling asleep and not seeing each other for 2 days" Namjoon told.

And Seokjin didn't like hearing it one bit, a frown took place on his face "Namjoon" He began "never have you said anything about the way we are as friends, can you not start now?" He asked.

"Alright" Namjoon mumbled opening his car door "I'll see you tomorrow" he added before getting into his car Seokjin let out a sigh before walking off maybe he was being too clingy and Namjoon didn't like it.
