Part 22

While Namjoon and Seokjin were having a great time on their date. Yoongi and Jungkook were arguing.

It wasn't too much of a surprise when Yoongi had said something about Jungkook's parents when Jungkook had begun talking about them.

Let's start from the beginning.

Yoongi and Jungkook had been laying in Jungkook's bed. After everything that had happened yesterday the younger wanted to cuddle with Yoongi.

He was sure this time Yoongi would change, and maybe his feelings that he'd been doubting so much would become certain just like the past.

It was nice, Yoongi doing something on his phone as he held Jungkook in his arms, occasionally kissing the younger on the lips or pecking his head.

It wasn't until Jungkook let out a deep sigh after his thoughts began wondering to his parents "what's wrong?" Yoongi questioned "I miss them" Jungkook confessed his eyes already watering.

"I miss them so fucking much Yoongi, and I know they were gonna die sooner or later but..fuck I wish I had time to prepare myself" Jungkook covered his face as tears began falling.

Yoongi mumbled a few 'It's gonna be ok' as Jungkook cried in his arms and Jungkook didn't push him away this time, he snuggled closer.

But only for a few seconds.

Because soon enough Yoongi was saying something other than 'it's gonna ok' instead he was saying "If they hadn't drunk and done so much drugs they would have lived so much l" Yoongi mumbled.

Jungkook couldn't even hear any sadness in his voice "maybe then they could have worked and let you have an ordinary life" The words were followed by silence.

Then Jungkook was moving out of Yoongi's hold and sitting up, he was so fucking tired, tears were still running down his face but he didn't want to cry "Yoongi" he called, he tried to smile when he heard Yoongi hum in response.

"I love you" the younger confessed It had been so long since he'd said those words "I love you too Jungkook" Yoongi smiled looking up at Jungkook, only for a few seconds though.

Then he was pecking the younger, Jungkook just barely responded to the action. He had to make a decision, he loved Yoongi a lot, and he knew Yoongi loved him, but even knowing that wasn't enough to stop him from speaking when Yoongi pulled away.

"Yoongi, let's break up" Jungkook said forcing himself to stop crying, what else can he do? Yoongi would never change.

"Jungkook" Yoongi called "we... N-" Jungkook cut him off "it's either we break up or I keep getting hurt, Yoongi, you've already broken a promise, and I can't stop thinking about whether or not we'll end up breaking another and I'll get hurt again"

He knew his words sounded selfish "I already broke on when I agreed me be your boyfriend, I promised we'd always have a good relationship but we don't, you promised you'd change, but you haven't, you're still saying the same hurtful shit" Jungkook cursed

"I don't... I don't know how much longer I can keep up with this relationship when it hurts this much..Yoongi I didn't even wanna see you because of this same problem until yesterday"

That hit hard, and that was probably one of the few times Jungkook's words had hurt Yoongi since they started dating.

He stopped holding back when his vision started to blur "my parents died about a month ago, and I know dating you will only make the pain worse, so Yoongi please, I beg you let me go, you won't help me the way I need" Jungkook told.
