A few days had passed and Jungkook was trying his best to pull himself together but it was getting harder and harder.
Especially with the others constantly questioning whether or not he was ok, to be honest he just wanted to be left alone, and he'd said it to Yoongi once or twice, he just couldn't bring himself to say it to the others, he didn't know what it was that was making him feel like this.
He could tell the way he felt towards Yoongi had changed, maybe it was the talk he had with Seokjin or his parents' death, he didn't know but the Yoongi that used to make him happy and occasionally sad, was now just making him sad.
There was no happiness, Jungkook didn't feel a difference when he spoke to Yoongi, yet when he spoke to his friends he felt a little better, when Jimin just told him about this new movie and didn't ask if he was ok, Jungkook felt better.
When Seokjin had begun telling him about his and Namjoon's dates and didn't ask if he was ok, he felt better he didn't want to constantly be asked if he was ok, and he could tell Seokjin and Jimin knew.
And after a few days, the others figured too and stopped asking.

Yoongi's birthday had come around faster than Jungkook had expected and before he knew it they were throwing a party. It made him happy despite the party not being for him.
Made him think about how they'd been together for almost 2 years, but the more he thought about it the more he got upset. Yoongi had changed too much, he wasn't the Yoongi Jungkook wanted to date.
Jungkook felt weird thinking things like that, thinking that the Yoongi he was currently dating wasn't the Yoongi he wanted to date, he tried to shake off the thought, but it didn't work, he loved Yoongi a hella lot, that's what he'd been telling himself for the past months.
"Jungkook" Jimin called snapping the younger out of his thoughts "mmh" Jungkook nodded "is everything between you and Yoongi ok?" The question seemed deeper than it was.
Maybe it was because Jungkook wasn't used to being asked about his and Yoongi's relationship, or maybe it was because he'd just been thinking about it.
"Yeah.. Why would it not be?" He really had to stop lying "no, I'd just been thinking I know things have been hard for you lately and I wanted to help, but the only thing I could think of was Yoongi" Jimin shrugged.
"Why Yoongi?" Jungkook questioned "I wasn't trying to be nosy, but there were a few times that I saw you upset around him and I assumed it was because of him." Jimin told.
"Like that day we were at Hoseok's house and you left, I was sure it had something to do with Yoongi but Yoongi seemed pretty oblivious so I kinda thought I overthought it" Jimin added.
Jungkook didn't know what to say, he didn't think he'd been obvious that day "I... Well... It's not like our relationship is bad" Jungkook began "he just sometimes says some hurtful things" He didn't know why he didn't feel like following up with something to defend Yoongi.
It's not like Yoongi was gonna change, he'd already broken the promise.
"So is that why you've been upset for the past 3 weeks?" Jimin asked "no.. Something happened at home, I don't really wanna talk about it" Jungkook said and Jimin nodded.
It was only shortly after that Jimin was turning to talk to Taehyung who had started tapping his shoulder.
Jungkook had never been one to like alcohol said he didn't want to be like his parents, said it reminded him of them, but right now he just didn't care.
