Chapter 18

31-12-26

"Any idea why Taehyung decided to take Seokjin?" Yoongi asked seconds after the front door shut "cupid" Jimin answered knowing Yoongi would understand "ah, should have guessed Taehyung loves to play Cupid" Yoongi laughed.

"He tried to get me with this girl just because I said she was pretty and he wanted me to get over Jungkook" he added "you never stopped loving him huh?" Jimin questioned.

"It's hard to get over someone you love, I thought he'd be here forever thought he'd come back to me even after I fucked up so many times... took him for granted" the older admitted.

"You're not gonna do that now are you?" Jimin asked "no, I love him too much to have him leave me again, I can't do that to him, he's been through a lot already, I can't sit here making insensitive comments" Yoongi confessed.

"Wasn't just the insensitive comments" the younger told "it wasn't?" Yoongi raised an eyebrow "he tells Seokjin literally everything, the little he tells me usually isn't really anything big so I was a little shocked when he told me" Jimin began.

"And I'm not telling you because I wanna tell you his business, but because I don't him to get hurt and he won't tell you himself".

Yoongi nodded "what else was it?" He asked "the lack of understanding certain things, lack of interest in him and you told Taehyung everything, there probably wasn't a detail you left out and Taehyung hated him back then" Jimin told.

"Makes sense, Gosh I was such a shitty boyfriend" Yoongi sighed "you were, so you better make it up to him Yoongi otherwise I'll kill you" Jimin warned.

"I will" Yoongi assured, the other smiled standing up "I'm gonna go to the shop and get some comfort food for Jungkook I don't know if he'd want them but I'm gonna get then just in case" he informed before leaving for his and Taehyung's room.

He came back a few minutes later with a coat on "see you in a bit, don't open the door for anyone I have my key and the others won't be here for a while." Jimin told, then he was off.

Yoongi wasn't sure if it was the fact that Jimin left or just a coincidence but seconds after the door shut Jungkook began stirring.

Thinking he was probably a little uncomfortable Yoongi didn't watch him but when he heard a soft whine he looked.

The younger's eyes were squeezed shut, his hands scratching his neck as he whimpered quietly.

Yoongi quickly stood up and rushed over to the couch, yet he didn't know what to do, should he wake the younger up? Or should he leave him?

It wasn't until he realized Jungkook wasn't scratching his neck but clawing it that he shook the younger with one hand and used the other to pull his hands off.

Red marks being left behind from how hard Jungkook was scratching "Jungkook, wake up" he shook him a little harder and instead of waking up Jungkook's whimpers grew a little louder.

"Jungkook!" Yoongi called a little louder shaking the boy awake until his eyes finally flung open and he looked over at Yoongi eyes wide and watery.

"..Y-Yoongi..." He stuttered and before the older could respond Jungkook was wrapping his arms around his neck and crying into his shoulder.

"It's okay Jungkook, it was just a bad dream" Yoongi soothed gently stroking the younger's hair "felt so real" Jungkook sobbed "it's not Jungkook, I'm here, it'll be alright" Yoongi assured.

Jungkook didn't say anything, and the only thing that could be heard was the sound of Jungkook's light sobs.
