Part 13

The smile that Seokjin had been wearing was slowly starting to fade as the day continued.

He stepped out of the elevator and began walking to his apartment and when his eyes set on the figure standing in front of his apartment his smile completely dropped.

And it had been the day that he'd enjoyed so much.

Let's go back to when he was at work.

Seokjin was having his break when Jimin called him, and of course he answered "hey" he had a light smile on his face, the smile not being as bright as the one he wore this morning.

"I've waited so long and now I want the details" Jimin squeaked "nothing much really happened, I mean we let school and he was driving me home and I fell asleep I had... "Seokjin began telling Jimin the details.

"So are you guys gonna get together now?" Jimin squealed once Seokjin had finished talking "I don't know, I mean I really like him.." He admitted "but I'm not sure, maybe if he asks me out I'll say yes, or if I decide to ask him out" Seokjin added.

"Either way if you guys start dating, you have to tell me!" Jimin ordered "you'll be the first to know after us two" Seokjin laughed.

The two continued talking, and then soon enough they were hanging up and Seokjin was getting back to work.

Fast forward to when he got home, where he saw Jungkook standing in front of his apartment "what are you doing here?" Seokjin asked "I need to talk it's about you and Namjoon" Jungkook spoke.

"I'm not keeping my feelings in without a reason" Seokjin sighed "I need to explain Seokjin" Jungkook expressed "go on then" Seokjin encouraged "it's gonna take a while" Jungkook told that's how Jungkook ended up on Seokjin's bed opposite him.

"It was very hard to tell you this, and I know you already haven't told anyone about what I've said, so I hope I can trust that you won't say anything about this" Jungkook began.

Seokjin just nodded "3 years ago, when I first met Taehyung, Yoongi, Namjoon and Jimin, Jimin had asked to be my friend but I said no and Taehyung wasn't happy"

"So he threatened or blackmailed whichever one, he did it to me so I would be their friend, a few weeks or months I can't remember, but I think it was months after that Jimin found out and then Taehyung stopped for a bit"

"Then a year ago, he did it again, he didn't exactly blackmail or threaten me but he kinda did some stuff, like asked some questions on Yoongi's behalf I guess" Jungkook paused

"I don't know what it is about him, but recently he's threatened me again, and Yoongi and I already have a bad relationship, all I have to do is make sure you guys don't date If I wanna stay with Yoongi..but.."

"That's not fair to you and Namjoon, so please if you date Namjoon, don't let Taehyung find out, he'll probably be the first or second person Namjoon will tell".

"And probably days after you've started dating, so please just don't tell Taehyung, I really don't want to lose Yoongi so please don't let him tell Taehyung" Jungkook begged.

"Just what did Taehyung threaten you with?" Seokjin asked "that he'll break us up, I know I should have faith in Yoongi and know that won't be easy, but he was telling me that it would be easy with the way Yoongi has been acting" Jungkook told.

"And it's true, Yoongi had been acting really harsh and saying hurtful things within the last year, I've started to doubt whether he loves me, and Taehyung knows him so well" Jungkook ranted.

"If Yoongi's saying hurtful things and your doubting him shouldn't you guys talk?" Seokjin asked.

"The last time we fought, we sorted it out and Yoongi promised he'd changed, he even told you guys to show that he's serious" Jungkook answered

"But he's not changed... I don't come from a good background since I was 15 I've been working to pay the bills and Yoongi knows I'm quite sensitive when it comes to talking about money or my parents" Jungkook explained.

"Yet he keeps saying stuff that hurt, I've told him I don't like when he gives me money but he still tries, I told him before we started dating that I didn't want to date him because I felt like he would change".

"I told him, his ways of caring would feel like pity to me and he knows I hate being pitied yet he still does those things" Jungkook sighed

Jungkook knew he was getting a little too personal with Seokjin, but he also knew that if he didn't let it all out while he was comfortable he never would.

And Seokjin was the first person he'd spoken to about the problems he was facing.

"I have thought about breaking up, but I don't want to lose him, we still have good times and I should be happy with that..I shouldn't be greedy" Jungkook sighed.

"Jungkook if you're getting hurt more than he's making you happy then that's not right even though I don't even know much about love but I know that people shouldn't be feeling more hurt than not" Seokjin told.

The two continued talking and Seokjin was happy that he could help Jungkook, even when the younger decided he was still gonna stay with Yoongi.

Seokjin was glad that he'd allowed Jungkook to talk about it.

"You two kissed?" Jungkook repeated "mmh" Seokjin nodded "that's it? Are you just gonna kiss?" Jungkook asked "I mean like if you like each other why not date?" He added.

Seokjin had told him about what had happened between him and Namjoon.

"I don't know, Jimin asked if we were gonna date, I told him that if Namjoon asked I'd say yes, if not then maybe I would ask after a while" Seokjin told "you told Jimin before me?" Jungkook asked, faking offence.

"Well you kept saying stay after from Namjoon and don't confess" Seokjin mumbled "you have a point, but if you wanna date him isn't it better to ask him out sooner than later?" Jungkook asked.

"It's complicated, he's dating Naeun, they'd have to break u-" "Seokjin, I already know they're not dating, so do you" Jungkook interrupted "you do?" Seokjin asked "yeah, Yoongi doesn't keep much from me" Jungkook told.

"Well either way, what will others think? That I'm some type of relationship wrecker?" Seokjin asked "you know... It's really funny cause I used to think we were similar, we both had to work to survive maybe me more than you, but still" Jungkook paused

"We both had no friends before meeting these guys, were socially awkward and much more.. But you care too much about what people think" Jungkook told.

"Just care about what Namjoon, thinks, I mean he never loved Naeun anyways, so he would have ended falling for you with or without her" Jungkook explained.

"True, but still I'm a bit nervous, it would be my first relationship, and what about Namjoon's side? His parents are homophobic, it'd be really bad if something happen to him, how about we just don't date?" Seokjin questioned.

"Then he'll still have a good life, I mean Taehyung doesn't live with his parents anymore, that must be hard on him" Seokjin sighed.

"He still sees them and gets money from them, I think that no matter what Namjoon's parents won't kick him out, he's an only child, they need an heir" Jungkook assured.

Seokjin nodded, not thinking that something else could happen instead of Namjoon getting kicked out "then, I'll wait a bit and then ask him out" Seokjin bit his lip before nodding Jungkook smiled slightly at that.

He, unlike Seokjin knew there had to be something that would happen to Namjoon if they dated but even so, he knew they would be better if together, because no matter what, he was sure that they would go through whatever the problem was together.

It's a shame his sureness wasn't enough to stop the many things that would come up in his and their lives.
