Chapter 5

9-11-26

The next day came by faster than Jungkook expected and before he knew it he was ringing the doorbell of Jimin's apartment.

It was 8 pm, the time they agreed to meet up, Taehyung had set the time the others had thought it was a bit late but neither said anything. By the time everyone arrived, it was 9:30, Jaemin hadn't planned to come but Seokjin had asked him to.

He knew Jungkook would probably be a bit off because of Yoongi, Jimin would be with Taehyung and he didn't know Hoseok that well so he asked Jaemin to come.

It would make him feel a little less uncomfortable, make it easier to avoid Namjoon, something he wanted and didn't want to do at the same time.

It was only after everyone showed up that Taehyung brought out a few bottles of alcohol.

"What better way to catch up on life than with alcohol?" He'd said as he'd settled down the bottles of Soju and beer. Namjoon had decided to finish telling them what had happened in the past.

"So after my dad found out about Seokjin and I, he told me to stay away from Seokjin and the other people he'd found out were gay or even bi" Namjoon began

"He threatened to hurt Seokjin and at first I thought fuck it, what can he do but on the first day Miyeon, the girl I hung around the last couple days before I left" he paused.

"She pushed him and I know it was nothing but I realized it would only get worse from there, I had to ignore him or break up with him, and around day 3 or maybe day 6, I don't remember too well, my dad sent some messages to Seokjin"

"Not ones I want to repeat and basically told him I didn't love him, and but Seokjin wanted me to break up with him in person, I didn't end up going through with it"

"And after a while, I kinda gave up, I knew I couldn't get to Seokjin, my dad had eyes everywhere and I thought it was better if Seokjin hated me and got over me than thought I still cared about him".

"But then Miyeon came up with a plan, the plan was we'll tell my dad we're going to hang out and then ask Jihyo to ask Seokjin to come to a rooftop he'd taken me to before."

"But I don't think Jihyo got the note, either way, Seokjin was at that rooftop, I thought he came because he had gotten it but unfortunately that wasn't the case"

"I spoke to Seokjin for a little but he....uh...didn't believe me and I didn't have enough to convince him and before I knew it, I'm not sure how but my dad had found out about our plan".

"When I got home my dad told me that because I didn't give up on Seokjin he was sending me away, he got me a new phone number deleted all of my social accounts and booked a ticket to America".

"I've been there since, and to be honest at first, it was hell, absolutely shit, I missed being here and all the things I left here but after 5 years I'd figured I wasn't coming back"

"Figured I wasn't gonna see you guys and finally settled down, But not long after I had settled, I was coming back because my dad was sick, then I took over the company and you know the rest" Namjoon explained.

The others didn't really know what to say so Namjoon spoke again "Alright tell me a bit about how your lives are".

Taehyung went first telling Namjoon about how he and Jimin moved in together and how he still doesn't have a job, but Jimin got one.

Basically saying not much changed Jimin had pretty much agreed with Taehyung and then it went to Jungkook.

"Well... I set up a company and got a boyfriend, nothing big apart from the company happened to be honest" Jungkook told.

"Boyfriend huh? The other guy that came with you guys?" Namjoon asked "mmh, he doesn't really get along with the others but it was our anniversary so he was a little grumpy so please understand him" Jungkook answered.

"Anniversary?!" Taehyung asked clearly shocked "mmh" Jungkook nodded "why didn't you say anything we could have changed the date... I mean I wouldn't want to see Jimin's ex on our anniversary" Taehyung exclaimed.

"It's not that big of a deal we had fun after anyways" Jungkook muttered feeling a little embarrassed with all the attention on him.

The group nodded going on to the next person Hoseok, while Jimin nudged Jungkook "had fun? What kind of fun?" He grinned.

"Not that kind of fun you idiot" Jungkook blushed "you didn't sleep with him?" Jimin's smile dropped a little "no, we went to a spa, then got something to eat before going to watch a movie then we went our separate ways" Jungkook explained.

"Wow, you didn't have sex on your anniversary" Jimin shook his head "Ryugi and I don't really have sex that much we've probably only had sex around 10 times the whole year we've been together an anniversary is not gonna make it 11" Jungkook informed.

"You and Yoongi had sex way more than that like 3 times a week back in college I'm sure of it" Jimin told and Jungkook blushed.

"Fuck of" He muttered turning away and Jimin just laughed.

By the time the two had focused on what the others were saying Seokjin had just started talking, meaning they'd missed both Hoseok and Jaemin's turn.

"Didn't really do much either, to be honest, just got a better job and made a new friend" Seokjin muttered his gaze being plastered on his hands.

He then motioned for Yoongi to speak, "Well You already know that I'm pretty much living the ordinary life now that the company is my cousin's" Yoongi told.

"So you guys didn't really do much in life, huh I was sure at least one of you would have gotten married to a lovely girl"

"Most of us like boys more than girls... If anyone was getting married to a girl it'd be you, although I always knew you weren't straight" Taehyung muttered the last bit.

"Yoongi was straight before he dated Jungkook" Namjoon pointed out "Yoongi was confused not straight" Taehyung corrected.

"Yoongi is still confused" Yoongi muttered "it's been almost 6 years how are you still confused? You are either gay, Bisexual or Pansexual" Taehyung said.

"Well it doesn't matter it's not like I'm gonna be dating anyone anytime soon, and there are lots of other sexualities" Yoongi sighed.

"Why are you not going to be dating?" Namjoon asked, Yoongi glanced over at Jungkook who was looking down at the floor "being single is nice" He lied.
