Chapter 13

4-12-26

An hour later and everyone was pretty drunk Yoongi was seated beside Jungkook, Jungkook mumbling something about this being the first time Yoongi's been with Seokjin on his birthday since college.

Yoongi telling him that's not true and he always gives Seokjin a birthday present in the afternoon and just isn't usually around when they have the party.

Jungkook had laughed at that and said it wasn't true the two had begun arguing about it though it looked more like flirting than arguing.

Meanwhile, Namjoon couldn't stop thinking about what Taehyung had said about him making Seokjin insecure.

Was he really the reason Seokjin didn't have sex? Was it really because Seokjin believed the message came from him? Not just because he was told he was bad in bed?

Namjoon didn't know but he didn't have the guts to ask, unlike Yoongi and Jungkook, he wasn't that drunk much like Taehyung.

Seokjin was a little drunk, Jimin was pretty sober while Hoseok had passed out on the couch.

"Namjoon can you get me some water please?" Taehyung asked moving from Jimin to Namjoon who eyed him suspiciously he seemed soberer than Namjoon himself why couldn't he get it.

But instead of asking why Taehyung couldn't do it himself Namjoon stood up and walked off to the kitchen, as soon as he left Jimin nudged Seokjin who got up and left following Namjoon.

"Namjoon" Seokjin called stopping at the kitchen door, younger almost screamed clearly not expecting Seokjin to be there "gosh you scared me" He muttered "sorry" Seokjin apologized walking over to Namjoon.

"It's ok, what's up?" Namjoon tried his best not to be awkward "I wanted to say thank you for my gift, don't tell Jimin but I like your gift the most" Seokjin smiled.

"But... You haven't even opened it" Namjoon pointed out "it doesn't matter, I'll like anything that's from you" Seokjin giggled and if Namjoon didn't know Seokjin was drunk he would have thought it was weird.

The way his heart was beating made him completely ignore the fact that he would never hear Seokjin say this if he wasn't drunk.

"Thanks, knowing that makes me happy" He tried to stop the big smile that took place straight after he finished talking but it was hard.

"I'm..gonna go back now, Jimin's waiting for me" Seokjin told then he was walking off. Stopping at the door he turned and smiled at Namjoon before walking out "fuck" Namjoon cursed.

It had been years and somehow Seokjin still had him literally wrapped around his finger.

Namjoon came back with Taehyung's water a few seconds later Taehyung muttered a quiet thanks and placed it on the table. It wasn't long after that, that Jungkook was crawling into the middle of the room and speaking.

"Guys I have something to say it's like very big and I won't be able to say it sober so listen up" He announced a giggle following his words.

He earned a few confused looks from the others as they quieted down "what's up Kookie?" Jimin asked earning a light shove from Taehyung, Jimin just smiled at him before focusing back on Jungkook.

"I love myself..." Jungkook began, picking up his phone and pretending to use it as a mic "and what about it?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow "hey! Don't interrupt me it's really big to me and while I have the courage let me breathe!" Jungkook scold.

Taehyung just nodded "I'll be honest me and Ryugi's relationship hasn't been so good lately" Jungkook told "yes!" Taehyung muttered earning a harmless kick from Jimin.
