Chapter 37

May's POV
I woke up , wet. I rubbed my eyes for a better view and stared at my wall. I was dreaming the whole time but the question on my mind is... Why was I having a wet dream about Matthew?

I sighed and decided to shrug it off. I took my phone from my nightstand and scrolled down Twitter and Instagram , like a normal human being should do. About 1 hour later , I went downstairs for breakfast.

I had some cereal and oj. I remembered Hayes was sleeping over, but I didn't see him anywhere. Probably he went home? After breakfast , I went upstairs to take a shower. After 15 minutes of showering , I wrapped my fragile body with a towel and head to my room. I chose my outfit which is;

•White tanktop
•Black leggings
•Denim jacket

I loose curled my hair and put on some mascara and babylips. After all that , I watched television. About halfway through an episode of pretty little liars , I got a text message.

I unlocked my phone and checked the text message. It was from...

Matthew Espinosa.

My heart started racing and the palm of my hand started sweating. I calmed myself down and read the text message. It said;

From:Matt.😔💔
Hey May.☺️ Mind coming to Starbucks? Got something to tell you. -Matt.

Then I decided to reply.

To:Matt.😔💔
Hi Matt. Yeah sure I don't mind. Be there in 10.

Then I pressed sent.

I took a banana and my penny board. I shoved some money and my phone in one of my jacket pocket and putted on my vans and sprinted out

The weather is lovely. I love the fresh smell of the breezy wind. About exactly 10 minutes pennyboading , I finally arrived to Starbucks.

I picked up my penny board and went inside. I queued up and planned what to buy. Then someone pulled me out of the line. "Hey" i screamed. "Shhhh" Matt said while pressing one finger on his lips. I rolled my eyes pissed. "Here" he said handing me a double chocolate frappe.

I took it and said thanks and awkwardly smile. "Let's take a seat outside" he said. I nodded my head and we both headed outside.

We sat outside with 2 seats. I took a sip of my drink and sat there awkwardly.
"Look..." Matt said breaking the silence. "Can I explain?" He said. I nodded my head slowly.

Matt's POV

My legs are shaking. Shit , oh fuck. Okay Matt calm down. Just..be..honest..with..her.
"Okay. At Taylor's party. I promised you I'll get you punch right?" I began. She nodded. "Well on the way there, Taylor forced me to take this kind of drink or he'll..." I paused. "He'll what Matt?" May asked.

"He'll take you away from me" i whispered. "Oh.." May said, about to cry. "So I did. I love you May. I'll take any risks to make sure that you're safe and mine" i smiled slightly. "After that I went to where the punch were served and then I felt kind of dizzy. I couldn't get a grip on myself. Then the next thing I knew I was punched by Hayes. My nose was bleeding but I didn't care. I was trying to focus on my environment. I saw my car window smashed and.." I paused to take a breath.

"I saw Lilly." A tear escaped May's eye. Now I felt bad. "Don't cry May..." I said while wiping away her tear. She wiped away her tear and said "continue". I nodded and said "S-she took advantage of me. I didn't know what we had in the car , I swear but one thing I know was we haven't had sex yet." "How did you know you hadn't had sex yet?" She asked. "Both of us were in boxers , bra and undies. If we actually had sex , both of us will be naked there" I giggled. May faked a smile and stared at the floor.

"I'm so sorry May. I really am and if you don't want to get back with me , I understand" i said sounding like i wanted to cry. "Shhhh" May said smiling. "I forgive you" she said. I squealed like a little girl causing people to stare at us. We laughed and smiled.

"So this means we're back together again?" I asked. "As always" and with that she kissed my cheek.
