Chapter 35

May's POV
There was a knock on my door. I got up lazily and opened it and saw Hayes. He hugged me really tight. I couldn't help but sob on his chest. I gripped my hands on his shirt and began crying uncontrollably.

He didn't say anything. He hugged me so hard that made me so emotional. I wiggled out of his hug and saw his hair all wet and damp. He was wearing a plain white shirt with tears on it and short khakis. He wiped my tears, again and pulled me in a hug. It was warm and how could you say this?

Lovable?

"Shut up May" he said. I got out of the hug and raised an eyebrow at him. "Don'y cry again". I couldn't help but smile. He came closer and kissed my cheek. My stomach knotted and full if butterflies. He interwined our hands and pulled me out the room. We went downstairs where my dad was waiting for me. My heart began pounding really hard. I was nervouse of what my dad was going to say. My hands became sweating uncontrollably.

Hayes noticed and squeezed my hand. My dad looked at me and smiled a little. He got up and ran up to me and..

Hugged me.

I wasn't expecting that tbh.

"I'm glad your okay." He rubbed my back. I hugged my dad back and a smile crept to my mouth. Hayes cleared his throat and stood there awkwardly. My dad let me go and kissed my forehead. "Okay i'll see you." I smiled and nodded my head. "You know that I love you right?" He whispered. I hugfed my dad and said yes. He smiled and went up his room to get ready for work. He works the night shift. I went to the kitchen and got some orange juice.

"It's 10.30" Hayes said sitting on the kitchen counter. I looked at the clock which was hanging at the living room wall. It was now 10.35pm. I yawned and placed my glass in the sink. I rubbed my eyes and yawned again. The next thing I knew , I was being carried upstairs. I was placed on my bed and got in the covers.

I was assuming it was Hayes.

He kissed my forehead and left the room.

I was sleepy but I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about Matt. I decided to tweet quick. I said ;

"@MaySmithh: Please don't leave me"
And posted it.

I locked my phone and sighed. I soon felt really drowsy and then slowly fell asleep.
